Losing someone to youth violence leaves a ripple of grief through families, friends, schools and whole neighbourhoods. Too many people carry it quietly.

Grief Together is a free space held by the community, for the community, for anyone aged 18+ affected by this kind of loss. Come to be heard and to find support in shared experience.

With a short talk from Waltham Forest Vanguard Violence Reduction Service, space to explore what this kind of grief can look like, alongside others who understand and information on other support services.

🏳️‍🌈 Our LGBTQ+ Grief event is just one week away — and we still have a few spaces available.

📅 Book your place via the link in our bio.

Together with elop, we’ll explore LGBTQ+ grief and some of the unique challenges and barriers that people in the LGBTQ+ community may experience when navigating loss.

Grief is something we all experience, but LGBTQ+ young people and adults can face additional layers of emotional complexity — from stigma and discrimination to experiences of rejection, isolation, and the ongoing struggle for acceptance in a heteronormative world.

This event is open to everyone.
There will be a dedicated LGBTQ+ closed space during the evening, offering an opportunity for small-group sharing in a supportive environment.

The evening will be interactive, but there is absolutely no expectation to participate. You’re very welcome to simply come along, listen, and be part of the space in whatever way feels right for you.

If you know someone who might benefit from this support, please share this post. Help us reach anyone who may need a safe and supportive space right now.
