The Miseducation of Bindu (2019)
Genre : Comedy
Rating : 7/10

An Indian girl tries to test out of high school early.

Well, I’ve seen a lot of coming-of-age movies and I honestly don’t even like them that much. Most of them have the same story, a misunderstood teenager has to go through the nightmare of being in an American high school where they are constantly bullied in spite of the school’s vicious no bullying campaign and then they go through a series of “funny” little incidents that makes them see themselves in a different light. First of all, people go through their entire lives without half as much stuff happening to them as it does in movies but this one wasn’t horrible. I had no expectations going into the movie and I think that’s a factor in itself, but the movie was nice, it was somewhat funny, it killed the already overused troupe of Indian parents wanting to raise their kids in America but under the guise of overprotectiveness. Overall, it was a nice movie to watch, like the kind you watch once because you like the actress (@megansuri) in it (or was that just me?). So, it's completely up to you if you want to watch the movie or not. Enjoy guys and let me know what you think ❤️

It’s available on Verizon @verizon and Vudu @vudufans
