🎭 𝕊𝕖𝕒𝕤𝕠𝕟 ℙ𝕣𝕖𝕧𝕚𝕖𝕨 𝕒𝕥 𝕋𝕙𝕖 ℂ𝕦𝕣𝕧𝕖 🎭 AD | PR Invite

The start of October is always exciting because it heralds The Curve’s Season Preview! Chief Executive Chris Stafford and Artistic Director Nikolai Foster sat down with @geetapendse and @matthewhemley to celebrate this year's triumphs and to run through the impressive array of shows coming to the stage in the coming months...

The evening started with a delightful performance from the @kaine_mgt choir singing 'I Smile' with sparkling smiles themselves, and beautiful harmonies. An associate choir to the Curve, who deliver Arts, Community and Education activities across the city. As an Affiliate Community Group of the Curve's, they'll be hosting the following showcases throughout the Autumn:

KAINE: BETTER TOGETHER 28/10/2026
KAINE: FESTIVAL OF CHOIRS 21/11/2026
KAINE: WINTER VOICES 10/12/2026

The Curve's work with Kainé is part of their social mission in working with children, youngsters and people of all ages to improve access to workshops and activities in the performing arts across Leicester.

The Curve have also been recognised with two nominations for the UK Theatre Awards this year; one is Kiss of the Spiderwoman's nomination for Best Musical Production, and for Excellence in Arts Education for their work with the Randal Foundationand Shine, a groundbreaking arts and education project that aims to address the mental health and wellbeing crisis amongst young people in some of Leicester’s most disadvantaged communities. There's a lot to be proud of, and it's really no wonder that the Curve have had their most successful year so far, selling 75,000 tickets to shows either playing at the Curve, or to see MadeAtCurve productions on Tour! So what do we have to look forward to now?

SAVAGE @SavageThePlay
13/02-06/03/2027
Inspired by the life of Paul O’Grady (played by the endlessly charismatic @thedannybeard ) and created with his blessing, SAVAGE is a bold and deeply moving new play (MadeAtCurve) about the Blonde Bombsite herself, Lily Savage. Full of delight, naughtiness and zest, it's a comedy full of heart showing the full power of drag.

We were giddy with excitement. For 4 September - 2 October 2027!
