Embracing my “femininity” has really changed my life 💕

I’ve always admired well put together women because for a long time, it didn’t come natural to me. I still have to be intentional every now and again.

A lot of my “coming into womanhood” was really suppressed by protective parents, religious systems & more in the name of not ending up “fast”. It wasn’t until my early 20s I really started to properly learn the basics of what it means to be a woman, be feminine & how to put my best foot forward in the world.

The world of “feminine” coaches. I found some gems in there for personal development but had to discard the nonsense e.g. the styles of content that hyper focus on encouraging you to change yourself to be more “attractive” to men.

Overtime, I embraced softness, and I saw the changes in my life. From my personal development to friendships, to relationships, to my career.

This Post 25 Body! No one could have prepared me for some of the changes that start to happen to some of our bodies once we hit 25. Metabolism slows down, energy depletes, various deficiencies, weight fluctuations.

Sometimes we wonder if there’s something we’re doing wrong & try to take drastic measures to fix this; sometimes they work & sometimes they don’t. Either way, getting to a place of acceptance, surrendering & approaching one’s self with love, makes a wealth of a difference.

Can you relate? Have you experienced any changes in your body post 25, life events or seasons? What has been your reactions to that? Acceptance or an attempt to reverse things?

Russell Wilson: Sign me up for corny! Feat. @abigail_kwakye 💕

Russell Wilson is married to superstar, Ciara, who was previously with one of hip hop’s fave, Future. Their relationship didn’t work out and she chose to try someone different, Russell.

To me, all Russell does is love on her and their family but somehow instead of applause, some make fun of him for being “soft”, call him “corny” or a “square”.

Ciara did what most women are asked to do after failed entanglements: “pick better” & somehow it’s still not good enough 😩
