Rex will always be our pretty little baby!

We are so incredibly grateful for the amazing care he has received from the team at @eyecareforanimals_sandiego over the past two years. Every visit, Rex was treated with such kindness and compassion. While we hope to keep him healthy enough that we don’t need to return, we will genuinely miss seeing such a dedicated and caring group of people.

We also want to give a special, heartfelt thank you to @colemillerart and @kaitlynborgschatz . You both stepped in to help us through the second half of Rex’s recovery, and we honestly couldn’t have done it without you. The support you provided was immeasurable, and we are so thankful for everything you did.

You’ll forever be in my heart 😭😭😭 I love you so much Princess Bubblegum, aka Bubbles, Bubbies, Bub Bub!

Even though I only had the privilege of knowing Bubbies for half of her life, our bond became incredibly strong. I never would have imagined, when we first met, that we’d grow so close. At first, she wasn’t very keen of me. But it was all about understanding her, and once I did, it didn’t take long for us to become the best of friends.

She truly was a couch potato princess, yet she absolutely adored being outside and going on hikes, especially when she had her little orange booties on. Those booties transformed her into a little speedster, juking left and right, sprinting with pure joy.

In recent years, I started making her homemade dog food, and oh boy, how
she loved it! The enthusiastic “WoOOOoOsss” she’d give me every single time I fed her were all the motivation I needed to keep making it. She’d never “wooo’d” for food before, so those sounds became so precious to me.

If there’s one thing I’ll miss the most, it’s our morning cuddles in bed. That’s something I’ll forever cherish. She always came to “Da da” for cuddles and pets, not Mama. I always insisted, “I give you the best pet pets,” even though Celyne begs to differ 😅. You knew you were doing a good job when she’d lie on her back and stick one front leg straight up in the air. If they were really good, you’d get both legs! 😂😂🥹

We truly tried everything we could to keep her with us, and she fought with every ounce of her being. It all just happened so sudden and to be honest, we felt she was ripped from our hands and taken from us way to early. It almost doesn’t seem fair. Like why her? But as times goes on you realize that it’s important to remember all the great memories you had. Life is short and you really just need to live in the moment and cherish every moment. I’m just glad we did that with her.

She was, without a doubt, the sweetest doggo. Everywhere we took her, people fell in love with her, and she always returned that love tenfold.

I love you so, so much, Bubbies. I can’t express how much I’ll always love you, and I promise, I will NEVER forget you.

EV fest this weekend was a blast, we brought in 30 cars and walked away with two awards for Empire Custom Wraps and 7 others for projects that we completed on other cars.

Thank you for everyone that came in hot with us, and thank you to everyone who stuck it out in the heat with the team.
