@meeden.art Soft Oil Pastels on watercolor paper 🎨

Wanted to try something a little different today 🌲 As I’ve grown up with trees around me my whole life - specifically Ponderosa Pines, I thought I’d try to create something as an homage to my little hometown of Paradise. I only planned on doing the trees but decided to put a bit more of the scenery in it and was able to incorporate the landscape with a view of Sawmill Peak (or at least some of the canyon!) 🖼️

Loving how this one turned out, especially from afar which isn’t always the case. I even decided to frame it! Do we think I should do more like these?

Such an iconic night at @akbarsilverlake on Monday 🎥 Thank you to everyone who came out to see our film before an amazing night of Learn The Words, B*tch!!

It was the perfect way to celebrate the premiere and show the documentary in the place where it all began - Especially with those who have been there since the beginning & the friends we’ve made along the way. Congrats to the winner of the night @richardjamesx3 👏🎉🏆

We’ll keep you updated with any further screenings in the future. Thank you for your support, Silver Lake! 🌈

In Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey,” Matt Damon’s Odysseus is journeying through literal hell on Earth to get home to his precious Penelope. Ev (and @armandassante.official in 1997’s “The Odyssey”) want to know: “Why?”

We’re finally talking about “The Odyssey!” First order of business? Matt Damon’s hot bod, and how dare he, really. New episode is up on the YouTube channel now!

This painting was one I started only to get rid of excess paint so it was all blobs - which of course became flowers so now I’m going back in to add the details and help the petals stand out a bit more! 🌼

Trying to do a little art every day, and part of being accountable with that is sharing what I’m working on! If you found yourself here, thanks for following along! 🎨

Another day, another art experiment 🎨 I’ve been wanting to use soft oil pastels for a while and I knew I wanted a more blended style but I didn’t want to ruin my paint brushes, so I set aside all the extra makeup brushes and decided to give it a try 🖌️

I started with a canvas I’d already coated with one layer of matte blue acrylic paint and just started drawing so of course pink flowers were my first instinct. I love how malleable the pastels are so I could keep blending as I wanted and layer the colors together.

So happy with the results, it came out so whimsical and cute! Looking forward to trying something like this again. 👏
