Hockey season is BACK, Rapid City! 🏒🔥

The Rapid City Rush are getting ready to hit the ice for another season, and we're ready for the goals, the cheers and all the game-night energy at The Monument!

Who's ready for some Rush hockey?! 👀🏒

@sugarland with Jennifer Nettles was SPECTACULAR! She is certainly an example of where her amazing talent, the group’s hits, and their tremendous showmanship cannot be limited by Instagram reel length restrictions. I even got a High 5 from Jennifer as she and Kristian Bush made their way to the floor for a few songs. Dakota Janie loved it!

I’ll take “Songs I’d Never Expect to Hear on Moonpup’s IG Page” for $1000 Alex. Don’t ever say I’m not well rounded or that I’m out of touch with today’s youth. At least this portion of this song was performed by the AMAZINGLY TALENTED Jennifer Nettles from @sugarland. What an incredible vocalist. Highlights to follow shortly! Another outstanding concert here in little ol’ Rapid City, SD.

What a beautiful night of culture, education, and sisterhood with @MissRollingPlainsTeenSD 💛✨

I had the privilege of attending Wacipi 101 at the 2026 Black Hills Powwow, where I learned more about the traditions, cultural protocols, and significance behind this incredible gathering.

The emotion and atmosphere was electric! Every corner you turned, you could feel the passion behind the dance, music, and movement. Experiences like these are made meaningful by those who generously share their knowledge and traditions, helping foster greater understanding and appreciation for Indigenous culture and communities 🥹🫂

"Sometimes the community forgets why the venue was built to begin with; to create an economic impact.” — Craig Baltzer, The Monument

Executive Director of IEBA, Brian Wagner, led the conversation during the Data for Dollars panel, which explored the economic impact of the live events industry, from labor and tourism to capital investment, marketing spend, and the ripple effect venues have on local and regional economies.

What an incredible performance from Tracy Lawrence last night at The Monument Theater in Rapid City, SD. Hit after hit after hit after hit and he sounded like his 90’s self. The montage here even excludes several of his songs as well as fantastic covers of Kenny Rogers, Charley Pride, Charlie Daniels and Keith Whitley. So much great music over 90 non-stop minutes. Great seats too!
