You are part of the Kingdom family! ❤️👑 📸 **THE PHOTO GALLERY IS HERE!** Go find your smiles, tag your people, and relive the love! 🫶🏾✨ This is just the beginning. We’re building something beautiful, one Sunday at a time! **Jesus is the reason. Love is the atmosphere. DAY 9 of Songs I’ve Written &/or Produced! 🎶🔥 Today we’re sharing another one I wrote over 10 years ago called “I AM”! 🙌🏾 This song was birthed out of a real place of depression. During that season, I was reading a book that literally changed my life: Victory Over the Darkness by Neil T. Anderson. The book really opened my eyes to understanding my identity in Christ. One day, I made up my mind that I was gonna remind MYSELF of who I AM in Christ! So I started writing down my thoughts and feelings, and before I knew it, the lyrics and melody were coming together. I ended up teaching the chorus to my choir, and we would sing it out and watch it minister to people who needed that same reminder! 🙏🏾 Fast forward a few years, I reached out to @mrmbutler while he was working on his “On Purpose” record, shared the song with him, and landed a placement! 🙌🏾 And listen… I’ve been a Myron fan since the Kirk & Family/GP days! 😂🔥 IYKYK! Years later, I revisited the song while producing a single for my brother @JermichaelRiley. I introduced it to him, and he immediately said, “Let’s go with it!” And the rest is history! What makes this song special to me is that it came from a vulnerable, REAL place. These lyrics were my actual thoughts and feelings in that season. We made a few minor changes for Jermichael’s version, but the heart and message behind the song never changed! TODAY, I want YOU to be reminded of WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST! Don’t let your feelings, your past, or what you’re going through define you. There’s a difference between what you FEEL and who God says you ARE! 🙌🏾❤️ Go listen to BOTH versions and let me know which one speaks to you! 👇🏾 🎧 Both versions available on ALL streaming platforms!
