Your first time onstage is about more than the poses. It’s about learning how to trust yourself under the lights. Congratulations to ✨Confidence By Design✨ posing client @thaitikii on stepping onto her first NPC stage this past weekend at @themusclequest, the Colorado Muscle Classic! Welcome to the NPC✨ Top 3️⃣ placing with two being a 🥇place finish In just three weeks, Tiki learned the mandatories and presentations for two divisions: Bikini and Wellness. That’s a lot to take in, especially while managing the nerves and uncertainty that can come with a first show. The judges’ feedback was encouraging: Tiki did a good job locking in her mandatories and for a True Novice athlete, those FUNDAMENTALS are what matter most. The work continues into 2027. Our next goals are to bring her poses to life, help her make them her own, and build ✨CONFIDENCE ✨so she’s not simply copying a pose or going through the motions. A presentation becomes stronger when an athlete started perceiving herself as confident. Fear and anxiety can be a real part of a first show. Learning how to manage those feelings takes time, practice, and support. Life (and show) update!!! ✨This was the best physique I’ve been able to bring since starting to compete, and ended up in last place. While it did sting at first, I am still incredibly proud of the package I brought and the insane progress I’ve personally made in the past 2ish years. ✨I will be taking a break from competing for a bit, but not because of the loss! Don’t get it twisted!! 🤠 ✨ @t_watsonfit and I are getting married next year!!! That’s my biggest focus from here on out. Im so excited 😭🥹 ✨I will still be a menace in the gym trying to grow my glutes and delts, in the chance I do decide to compete again in a couple of years. ✨I need to give a massive shoutout to @brookehackett_fitspo !! Brooke, your guidance taught me SO much over the past couple of years and I’m truly so grateful for that. I’m taking everything I’ve learned from, from how to train muscle groups properly to how to fuel my body properly, into my everyday life. You’ve been the best coach and I will 1000000% be coming back to you when the time is right. I cannot thank you enough for investing your time and knowledge in me 🫶 The support that I’ve felt from everyone on IG and the new friendships I made through bodybuilding are so special to me. The biggest takeaway? My biggest competition is myself, and I for sure beat that girl who first started bodybuilding two years ago. Im so proud. Up next?! MARRYING MY BEST FRIEND!!! And having a bomb ass bach party with my other bestie @__evanonearth 🥹 So excited for this next chapter!!
