Last night was the Cash Money No Limit tour, and I pulled up in camo cargos, a leather bodysuit, stacked gold chains, and yes, a grill. If you know me from client fittings or gala season at work, this might surprise you, but THIS GIRL has always been in there, and I was not about to stand in that arena rapping every word like it was 1999 while dressed like I came straight from a board meeting.

I move through a lot of different rooms in a single week, from boardrooms to client closets to nights like last night, and I’ve never understood why we expect people to be layered and complicated but expect their wardrobes to say one thing. Nobody is one-dimensional, so your wardrobe shouldn’t be either.

It should, however, fit every version of your life.

That bodysuit is my proof. Last night it sat under an army jacket with cargos and sneakers. Put it under a sharp black suit and it turns polished with just enough allure to keep things interesting, the kind of look that can hold its own at a dinner or a cocktail hour without me ever thinking twice. Same piece, a completely different energy walking into the room, and both versions are me.

That’s honestly how I want you to shop. Look for pieces that can follow you from one part of your life to the next and rise to whatever the occasion calls for.
