On 10-11th October a print of my painting was a part of a shared pop-up exhibition in Vienna, Austria!

Even though I was not able to attend in person, the excitement is very much there! Thank you! ❤️

Thank you for the opportunity and the photo! @thenamesgallery @thelastabstraction_thegallery

It has been a remarkable season for my work.

On September 27, 2026, my art was showcased on a digital billboard in Times Square, New York City, as part of Visual Art Journal’s Times Square Billboard Showcase. Yesterday, October 10, my work went on exhibition at Names Gallery in Vienna, Austria, where the exhibition continues through October 11.

Alongside these international showcases, I am featured in Visual Art Journal magazine, issue 62 with an interview exploring my artistic practice and the ideas behind my work.

I invite you to visit the exhibition in Vienna, read my interview, and explore the works of the other incredible artists featured in this edition. Please engage with their work, leave a comment, and say hello. There is so much to discover when we take the time to encounter one another’s practices.

My sincere thanks to @visualartjournal and @thenamesgallery for creating a platform that brings artists, ideas and opportunities across borders.

From Nigeria to New York to Austria, the work continues to travel. And I am only getting started.

Read the interview on the link in my bio.

Hanuman — And Then There Was This Guy

And then there was this guy—Hanuman.
Not a god I feared, but one I trusted.
Strength without arrogance.
Devotion without question.

As a child, I saw the hero. I loved him because he was mischievous too, and made me laugh. I would wear his mouthpiece, tie his tail around my waist, and hold the lightest Gada that looked heavy but was feather-light.

Today, I look at the man behind the painted face. I use marigold as his tail and lift Gadas to strengthen my muscles.

Perhaps every Ram Leela character changes as we do.

“Excuse-moi,” Shakti said, “let me grab my baguette, my croissant and my divine feminine power. Paris is waiting. Et non, chérie, don’t paint me as one of your French girls. Exhibit me as the Goddess I am.” 🇫🇷🔥🌹
Mahishasura Mardini, la reine divine, est arrivée. 👑

In a city that has immortalised beauty for centuries, Shakti came not as muse, but as power, Goddess and presence. Holy Mother made her Paris debut, stepping from my studio into the world. 🌹🔥

Truly grateful to the very lovely Anna for curating and presenting Holy Mother with such care, and for being part of this beautiful beginning.

Paris, you were Shakti’s first home beyond my studio. Ever the Diva, she knew exactly where to begin. 🌹✨

Here’s to every woman, to the divine feminine within every living being, and to everywhere Shakti travels next. 🔥✨

Here’s to Shakti, truly in motion. 🌹🪷✨
