☠️ Threnodax – Lord of Ashes ☠️ Some legends refuse to stay dead… 🏴‍☠️ Once a leader of the Lich Lords and Pirate Kings of the Shard Islands, Threnodax dared to defy Toruk. Now bound to the shattered remnants of his own soul, he returns to unleash his fury once more. I wanted to give this model a ghostly, weathered appearance, with pale, ethereal tones and subtle green hues to bring out that undead feel. The contrast against the earthy base and dark details helps make the spectral figure stand out. Those chained axes and flowing, flame-like details make this one a seriously characterful model to paint! 💀🔥 A huge thank you to Warmachine for sending me the Dread Armada models to paint. Keep an eye out for more model focuses coming soon! Would you sail alongside the Lord of Ashes, or run for your life? 👀 #warmachine #warmachinecommunity #DreadArmada #miniaturepainting #paid

☠️ Skarre – Queen of the Dread Armada ☠️ The Queen has arrived! 🏴‍☠️ Skarre is a fierce and cunning commander who rules the Cryxian fleets through fear, blood and sheer force of will. Armed with sword, pistol and dark rituals, she’s a perfect centrepiece for the Dread Armada. I’ve really enjoyed bringing this character to life with the paintbrush, and I’m looking forward to sharing more of the Dread Armada models with you over the coming days. A huge thank you to @Warmachine for sending me these models and giving me the opportunity to paint them! 💀 Who’s ready to sail with the Dread Armada? 🌊 #warmachine #warmachinecommunity #DreadArmada #miniaturepainting #paid

☠️ The Dread Armada has arrived… I’ve had the chance to get stuck into some of the new Cryx Dread Armada models from Warmachine, and I’m really happy with how these have turned out. Skarre. Rengrave. Threnodax. And, of course… Deep Sea Steve. ☠️ A huge thank you to @warmachinegame & @thenarrativepainter for sending these over and giving me the opportunity to paint them. This is just the beginning though… Over the coming days I’ll be taking a closer look at each model, showing off the paint schemes, details and some of the techniques I used along the way. Which one catches your eye first? 👀 #warmachine #warmachinecommunity #DreadArmada #zombie #pirates

🔥 CHAOS FEST 2026 🔥 — A day filled with laughs, love and immaculate vibes. Being in a room full of people I’ve idolised and inspire me with my painting every day since joining this hobby last year was such a surreal feeling! — Everyone was so lovely and welcoming, it was so nice catching up with all of you, sorry I didn’t get pictures with everyone I’ll do better next time 😅 (thank you to the guys and gals that sent over pics they took)! — I finally got my book bois on the tabletop and played some proper 1v1 and 2v2 games. Record: P3 W1 L2 🔥 Thank you @lika_paints & @jreadyyminis for coaching my ass through everything 😂 — And lastly I want to say a massive thank you to the narrative daddy @thenarrativepainter, narrative mummy @hauntedshelf and narrative sis (this is your nickname now Lu) @misslupotter for all the hardwork they put into organising this event, designing the merch, and creating a home for all of us crazy c*nts to call home, the Chaos Crew discord server. It’s more than a community, it’s family. I have so much time and love for all of you! ❤️‍🔥 — Until the next one 🫶🏼 — #warhammer #art #warhammer40k #hobby #family
