“This is my ring. My parents bought it for me on Canal St in NYC when I was 9 or 10yo in the late 1980s. Name rings and necklaces were in style then and I really wanted one to fit in with the other girls in school. Most of then were rich but my family wasn't. My parents could only afford to get me a ring with diamond chips in the N though I wanted more. I'm now 40 and have worn this ring almost every day of my life since they bought it for me. It's the only piece of gold jewelry I own. I wear it as a symbol of appreciation for my parents who sacrificed a lot to provide for me. Somewhere along the way the ring got dented. I joke that it's from a fight where I punched someone in the face so hard it left an imprint so they knew who beat them when they looked in the mirror. I've actually never been in a physical altercarion like that.”

If there are too many Stan Zbornaks around you may find yourself in the midst of a STANDEMIC! Protect yourself like @thenatelite with the #BeaADay mask seen here. For each one purchased a medical grade one gets donated to @directrelief. This is the dual layer version, at the moment only the single layer is in stock. Link in bio. #goldengirls #thegoldengirls #quarantine

Sisters -

I am on fire with inspiration from last nights circle.

Magic IS real
Love IS the antidote
Don’t wait until you have the money or the job or the abs to start living. Don’t wait until life is back to ‘normal’, that may never happen and it’s overrated. Start today.

If you don’t know where to start, ask someone who has been to hell and back. Ask them how they did it.

Your pain could be the spark that inspires someone else.

May blessings from our sisterhood 😘
