♥️ A beautiful weekend of music and happiness! And the weather really cooperated! Saturday was the quintessential perfect fall day, and even though it was rainy on Sunday, it was just a soft misty rain… my favorite! 🥹✨ I want to thank all the wonderful people who came out to all the different venues, and all the people I got to meet and speak with! ♥️✨✨✨ And! Thank you for these photos that I cherish so much. It means so much for me to have these visual memories as well! ✨Frank Jacobs did the MFA photos! ✨At the Porchfest, I want to thank Alan Gold, Rhoda Rogers, Louise Alice, and Kristi Erickson. ✨And for the National Hotel photos, thank you, Rich Carlson!! 💖 It was our two year anniversary playing at the National Hotel and I shared “kisses” with everyone !! It was so wonderful to have Ernest Torres share some songs too! Everyone loved him! 🥰 ♥️ I must thank Rachael Simon for graciously hosting for Porchfest!! It was simply enchanting to be surrounded by flowers! 💐 And then, her beautiful flute playing 💛! And Anthony Carlson for his soulful Violin, and David Bopdrummer for doing the sound, as well as keeping time! And ..and, and!! I just can’t thank everyone enough 💗🥹✨✨✨✨ …tomorrow, back with my wonderful students and later in the week back in the studio. My new roaring 20s album is hopefully going to be done in two weeks, and released by the first of the year! Fingers crossed! 🤞 OH! And I got another banjo! 🪕 😂 I’m up to three!!! 🤭🙌🙌🙌. On my latest day trip, I stopped into The National Hotel & Restaurant in Frenchtown, NJ, and Linda behind the bar made me one I won't forget. Silky foam, a rich espresso kick, and coffee beans floating on top like a signature. Smooth, bold, and dangerously easy to enjoy. ✈️ Want a day trip like this? Let's plan it Link in bio To the locals: you already know this gem. To everyone else: Frenchtown is a river town made for slow afternoons. Browse the shops, stroll along the Delaware, then settle in at The National for dinner and a drink. 🌿 Want a curated Delaware River getaway? Book with the Guru Linda, thank you for the hospitality and for turning a first-timer into a fan. If you stop by, tell her the Travel Guru sent you! 🙌 Now I'm curious: what's the best espresso martini you've ever had? PRO TIP: When your Dad asks if he can take your kid to lunch say "What am I, chop liver?" and invite yourself 😉! The @thenationalnj is such a solid spot. The cocktails are perfectly curated and the menu is exploding with flavor. For drinks, literally order anything - rum, bourbon, tequila, vodka. Evey recipe is better than the next! The calamari is super light & fluffy, and the spicy Korean cucumbers require an extra glass of water but, no doubt, you will be digging out that last cuke! My mom and son both went with the Wagyu burger, and Michael already asked when we are going back My dad and I ordered the perfect amount of sushi. Rolls always with soy paper - spicy tuna crunch, for me, and Hamachi sushi. And of course, no visit to Frenchtown, NJ, without a photo with the blue donkey. 📍The National Hotel | Frenchtown, NJ #NJFoodie #ForkWithMe #FrenchtownNJ
