Our Polar Bears

We ain’t plunging in no ice cold water - maybe our golf balls will - but we still get outside when it’s in the 40s. Soulful Sundays keeps us warm in community.

Marissa Alexander spent five years in prison for defending herself from a man who abused her. How will we show up for her?

Let’s talk about coercion

It’s not healthy. It’s harmful. You don’t have to convince someone to do something they want. #DVAM

“The HBCU Golf Tournament is one of the best events of the year. It feels like family and it’s for a great cause. If you love life, you’ll love this event.”

Community for a Cause

Here’s what one of our participants had to say:

“The @hbcugolftournament is always such a special event. It creates an environment of acceptance, fellowship, and fun that is accessible to all skill levels of golf. @onlyrussgreenfans and @thenenaeffect put a ton of soul into the event, the host @megthegolfer always brings the energy, and all 3 are passionate about intimate partner violence prevention. I can’t wait to attend next year!”

⛳️💜 A Day of Purpose, Community, and Impact!

Congratulations to the HBCU Golf Tournament, presented by the 💚Bison 💛Impact ❤️Group, on an incredible event! Today was just as memorable and remarkable as the causes and communities you so passionately serve. 👏🏾🏌🏾‍♀️

It was truly inspiring to see so many HBCU alumni, golfers, sponsors, supporters, and amazing individuals come together for a greater purpose. This is what community, unity, and the power of giving back are all about!

As @wakerobingolfclub1937 celebrates its 89th season, we were honored to stand alongside those who believe in making a difference. Our legacy has always been about more than golf. It is about opening doors, uplifting others, being great stewards of the game, and creating lasting change in our communities.

Now more than ever, supporting one another and being part of the progress happening in our society is essential. When we come together with purpose, we create opportunities, strengthen communities, and inspire future generations. 💛

We look forward to celebrating with the Bison Impact Group again next year as Wake Robin Golf Club proudly ushers in its historic 90th season! We wish your organization continued success as you carry forward the important work of serving and uplifting others.

💜 And let us never forget the importance of standing with domestic violence survivors. Please continue to support survivors and the community organizations that provide advocacy, resources, safety, and hope. Every act of kindness, every voice, and every show of support matters.

Together, we are more than golfers. We are a community committed to making a difference! ⛳️💜
