I want to express immense gratitude to @voyageatl for choosing @thenewfirstladies as one of this month's "Hidden Gems" and for the opportunity to share my story with your readers and the great city of #atlanta. For 17 years @thenewfirstladies has been committed to the unwavering mission work of #mentoring girls. Our remarkable team, families, supporters and partners are instrumental in the success of #mentorship, youth and economic development because it cannot be done by one person but rather by a collective community with unusual faith in unlimited possibilities. I thank God for this amazing blessing and platform. I hope that someone will be inspired by this interview. ******************************************** First Ladies is currently accepting applications for its upcoming program cycle, and families across metro Atlanta are encouraged to apply while the enrollment window is open.
We are also seeking volunteers, mentors, donors, and advocates who want to support girls as they develop leadership skills, explore career pathways, and engage in civic and cultural learning. Every girl deserves access to intentional mentorship and ethical leadership development, and every community member has the power to help make that possible.

From Shamrock Edition to something even bigger 🍀⛳

What you saw at Girls On The Green was just a glimpse. The confidence, the smiles, the first swings and the sisterhood, that energy doesn’t stop there.

Now it’s time to take it further with our Girls Golf Division. A space where girls don’t just try golf, they grow in it, build confidence, and become part of a powerful community on and off the green.

If your daughter loved the experience or missed it, this is her next step.

Spots are limited and this is where real growth begins.

Register now through the link in bio and let her continue the journey 💚

Special shoutout to @thenewfirstladies @firstteemetroatlanta and @girlsgolf for supporting and helping us create impactful moments for these young girls.

What a beautiful day we had at Phoenix Pass on Saturday! The First Ladies Youth Leadership Foundation truly pulled out all the stops. They decorated the inside and outside of each apartment for Christmas and poured so much love, generosity, time, and care into our families.
The joy and connection shared between their team and our residents was absolutely heart-warming, a beautiful sight to witness. It was an honor to have them at Phoenix Pass, and we are so excited to continue our partnership with such an amazing group.
What they gave to our families wasn’t just decorations, it was a beautiful experience filled with love, dignity, and holiday cheer. ❤️🎄

I mentored with this organization for four years until my schedule no longer allowed; but I’m blessed to still be connected to the First Ladies! They took a field trip to my office and had a chance to ask about life, college readiness and the workforce. Our time flew by but I was so blessed to share my story and offer advice!

My key points emphasized were:
1. Find your tribe in college: you’ll love the support being away from family!
2. Networking is a required skill to navigate life!
3. Mentors are helpful at every level — even the best mentors are a mentee to someone else.

What advice would you give you your college self in retrospect?

Shoutout to the incredible Lady Antoinette on birthing this beautiful organization!

Last night was truly an unforgettable experience for me at #ExcelChurchWorldwide. I took a big step and did something that has always made me uncomfortable—standing in front of a crowd of people I didn’t know. I’m grateful to God for guiding me to take this leap, to Ms. Antoinette from @thenewfirstladies, and to Pastor K. Francis Smith for inviting me to be part of this community event. It was an honor to lead a fitness demo for the public and to connect with so many positive, uplifting people.

Finally, pushing myself to teach in front of a large crowd was empowering, especially given how many times I’ve talked myself out of similar situations. The atmosphere was amazing, and the positive energy was inspiring.

A huge shout-out to the wonderful ladies who assisted me during the event! My nerves got the best of me, so I may not have caught all your names😞, but please know I truly appreciate each one of you and the support you offered🙏🏿🙏🏿. Thank you to the entire Excel Church Family for your warm welcome, love, and support. I’m grateful for the opportunity to participate in such an incredible event.

Thank you, Excel Church, for an amazing night!

Girls Night tonight with She Excels and First Ladies Mentorship Organization @thenewfirstladies was an epic evening filled with sisterhood, fun, laughter, prayer, and power. It was a beautiful reminder of how mentorship can positively impact the lives of our young girls. Did you know that young women with mentors are 55% more likely to enroll in college and are more likely to hold leadership positions?

Mentorship is crucial in shaping the next generation of women, guiding them with faith, love, and trust. Together with First Ladies Mentorship Organization, we are excited to continue serving the young girls of Rockdale County, changing one life at a time and spreading God’s love along the way.

Mentorship is not just about guiding someone; it’s about walking alongside them, empowering them to discover their God-given potential and purpose. As we lead the next generation of women, let us be examples of faith, strength, and love, so they too can rise to become the women God has called them to be.

Looking forward to the incredible journey ahead!
