We spent 20 minutes secretly videotaping this icy patch waiting for someone to get tick tock famous for us, and then of course it was me. I was not surprised.

The best way to describe the Canyon is beautiful intimidation. The mind can't comprehend it, so it's kinda like the overview effect astronauts get when they see Earth from space.

• Rented a drop Mustang
• 100°+ the whole time in dry heat
• Stayed on a camping ground that was a federal dark zone at night, seeing all the stars. Staying on this beautiful dark zone confirmed I'm a city boy because it was tooooo quiet for me to live out there like the locals(gun necessary, legit middle of nowhere, bodies buried somewhere on some Breaking Bad, Courage The Cowardly Dog vibe).
• Found out cow-elk is a thing, noticed the wildlife wasn't afraid of human interaction due to living at the bottom of the Canyon mostly(the squirrels get personal with you when they climb up.)
• Rode through the dope city of Sedona
• Sightseeing the Red Rocks.
• Grounding my feet as much as I could
• Had some dope chicken n waffles from @mrwonderfulscwaz 👌🏽.
• Found out selfies were the #1 cause of death on the Canyon since disposable cameras with 3 the week prior on the edge(clout chasing kills). I got close to the peak, didn't need to push it because "why?" Lol I got nothing to prove in the impulse/thrill department.

This experience was fun and the getaway was needed. AZ is a beautiful state. Traveled from Phoenix, Grand Canyon, to Sedona then back. Great time!

These are small works painted outside during the last crazy year. From California to Arizona to Washington, through smoke and protest and ice, and of course covid. These and others are up for one more month @radiusartstudio 80% of sales goes to @impact_nw and so far we’ve raised $160 bucks to donate. These guys are super affordable. So much so that I’m a little ashamed as an artist to say, so DM if your interested in supporting a strong network to keep people in homes and one goofy artist who likes being outside. Or just donate directly to @impact_nw. Thanks @korinstagator @jolynfry @opentoyourcreativenature @radiusannex @tuesdaynightartseminar and all the homies in the community who keep pushing each other to stay brave and joyful and create. Love you guys....so much. Tagging all the artists in your community is fun, like a shout out track on a @officialbizmarkie album.

💛ART THERAPY PT 1.

BLM Art Therapy is a safe and peaceful space where people from the activist community can come together, create art, and talk with one another. Last month was the first BLM Art Therapy event in Irving Park and it came together beautifully! @linneasbg is hosting a second one this month on Wednesday 9/23 from 1 PM-5 PM and we encourage you all to attend, contribute, and/or donate art supplies to this event. @snackblocpdx will be there providing food and there will be speakers and relaxing lo-fi music as well.

There were many artists that donated their artwork from the previous event and we here at Spin Laundry Lounge volunteered our window space at the Broadway location to hang all of the art that is available to buy. 100% of the donations for the art will be going to the Black Resilience Fund

If you are interested in buying any of these art pieces please DM us here on Instagram for pricing and availability. If you’d like to admire the art we encourage you to swing by and enjoy❤️

Thank you Linneas for bringing us together.

This is love.
This is community.
This is Art Therapy.

The weather for #WallofArtists on Saturday in Laurelhurst Park was a classic late PNW Perfectly Pleasant August Evening (TM). I had an excellent time painting with @thenightpainter, and I'm so happy with my new easel's maiden voyage! I desperately needed some outdoor time, so painting happy little trees was just what the doctor ordered. There were quite a few people enjoying the park, walking, lounging, and eating, so let this stand in stark contrast to anyone falsely claiming that Portland is a warzone. The violence (as in bodily harm, NOT property damage) has originated from the police, the feds, and their supporters, so when those elements are absent everything is peaceful.

Don't sit back biting your nails and waiting to cast a vote. The time to get involved is now! Donate to mutual aid, volunteer, canvas, protest, SO MUCH TO DO SO LITTLE TIME. Let's get to work!

As bear spray and paintballs we’re flying during a street brawl, this guy paints the destruction. Absolutely incredible
