Your bachelor’s degree serves as proof of your unwavering commitment. Today is the exciting start of a fresh journey to build your future. The pages are blank, the plot is yours to create. I’m absolutely certain that you’ll infuse it with the most heartwarming characters, the loveliest songs, meaningful stories, hopeful messages, and every word will be filled with love and faith. And hey, when the pages hit a rough patch, as they inevitably will, I have full confidence that you’ll muster up that inner strength you’ve always had. You’ve overcome obstacles in the past, and I have no doubt that you’ll come out of this even more resilient. You’ve got this. I’ve got your back, always. I have full confidence in your abilities and aspirations. The terms “proud” and “grateful” fall short in capturing the depth of my feelings. But I will use them anyway. I am extremely proud of both your accomplishments and the impressive growth into a well educated Black woman. Your soul is just so pure, beautiful, generous, and kind. Today was such an amazing day celebrating my daughter’s achievement! It’s incredible to see how each child is born with their own unique gifts. Some excel in academics, others in sports or music. As parents, it’s our job to recognize and nurture those gifts so our children can reach their full potential according to God’s plan for them. We should always celebrate every achievement, no matter how small it may seem to others.

Today I prayed for all parents, may God continue giving you the wisdom to bring up your children and make you live long enough to celebrate their achievements. It’s been a journey filled with accomplishments, obstacles, and hardships, but my girl made it through. This wasn’t just three years of hard work; it’s been 21 years of praying for God’s guidance in every step she took. I am so grateful that God chose me to be her mom. I am beyond proud! Seeing her graduate today filled my heart with joy and pride. Her dedication, hard work, and perseverance have truly paid off. Here’s to new beginnings and endless possibilities.

A big thank you to my family for coming out to celebrate our girl! I can’t put into words how much you all mean to me.
