You know what time it is! NEW VOLUME ALERT!

"Everything is Math and Math is Everything"

Our Volume for November contemplates the central role that Math plays in our lives. Each one of us has had to sit through long winding classes learning some formula that you probably don't know when you'll ever use again, and yet we are told that math explains everything. Join us as we explore political pieces, reflections on the logic of math, and stories of personal relationships with math.

Volume Lead: Yannick Mutombo (@thenotoriousself)

The Articles:

The Professional Engineers of Ontario can't help you by Sameh Helmey (@eshta.gram)

Ethnomathematics: The Aesthetics & Subjectiveness of Mathematics by Halima Aliyu (@ms.hailley)

On Mathematics by Dinan Alasad (@dinan.alasad)

A Call to the Center: Reversing the gaze of Islamic Art by Salma El-Zamel (@sal.journeys)

Can I complain about math real quick by Layla Ahmed (@layla.yaaa)

Zero is Political by Moboluwajidide Joseph (@bojosephh)

Let's destroy the mechanical model by Wambui Waiganjo (@oxnxo_)

Cover Art by @kingkxnna

You can now read all the articles on tradmag.ca, or access it by clicking the link in our bio.

Don't feel like reading right away? Save this post to come back to when you're in the mood, you don't wanna miss out!
