Adulting sucks sometimes. Ok like a lot of the time lol
but then sometimes it doesn’t. Today I went to the @womenrising.live summit as a participant and then I DJed the afterparty. A room full of women who absolutely CRUSH adulting every single day went absolutely feral on my dance floor and I felt like it could actually change the world.

I’m in my new career era. An aspiring world traveling DJ who’s
going balls to the wall because I love it so much and I’ve got no fucks left to give 😂

I want MORE adulting like this. More rooms like this. And you know what? More dance floors held down by women
can’t hurt the world. Actually it’s what the world needs don’t ya think?

So here’s my pitch. Skip ONE adulting thing you think you should do but you actually don’t have to do. I bet if you let it go that the world would not implode and everything would be ok. Anyway my point is that I want to see you out there dancing like a wild animal 🐆
Send this to your fav adults. I want to meet them. ❤️❤️❤️

Just a few of our attendees!! Read on to see what they are excited about!!

Jess says: “I’m looking forward to making meaningful connections with local women, expanding my network, and learning more about ways to support and be supported in work and life. Women Rising represents a great opportunity to bring women together in a space that allows us to be unapologetically ourselves, to give and to receive, and to cultivate relationships that we may have never had the opportunity to experience otherwise. Sarah and Beth do a lovely job bringing us together for structured and meaningful conversations and can’t wait to see what’s in store at the Summit!”
Dr. Jessica Oehlke: Sleep Doctor. Psychiatrist. Founder of Sleep for Women and Lakeside Sleep Care

We still have passes available—don’t miss your chance to be in the room with these amazing women!!!

A COLLECTIVE ART EXPERIENCE: RELEASE + CALL IN

What if, for one day, you gave yourself permission to put something down?

The stress. The uncertainty. The expectations. The things you’ve been carrying.

At Women Rising, you’ll be invited to express what you’re ready to release through a word, color, image, shape, or whatever wants to come through.

Then, we’ll turn our attention toward what we want to call in.

More joy. More courage. More possibility. More of whatever you need right now.

Throughout the day, our individual expressions will come together to create one collective piece of art—a visual reminder of what happens when we release, make space, and choose what we want to call in.

We can’t wait to create this together and begin Women Rising with intention, creativity, and possibility.✨

Ultimately, we are all just looking for love and connection in a world that can feel out of control. You can find your people anywhere—but if you’re a woman building a business or climbing the career ladder—you might find your people in this room. Don’t miss out on what makes this event so special. The attendees.

We couldn’t do it without you.

“As women, we manage families, careers, aging parents, pets, workouts, medical appointments, meal prep and/or travel. No matter what we do, we often carry more than our share. It feels like we have everything on the menu but lose sight of the main course: a balanced, purposeful life. Women’s Rising presents an awesome opportunity to prioritize an ‘us’ moment- to come together and experience affinity in a way that few other events provide. I cannot wait to see everyone there!” - Kerin Durfee

Words from one an attendee of upcoming Women Rising on October 16, 2026! Don’t just take our word for it—hear from some of the women coming to our event!

We’d like to extend our deepest gratitude to our Sponsor, @hulalakeside ! We truly couldn’t have done this without Hula, Brian Galloway, and the entire Hula team.
Hula’s mission is to elevate Vermont entrepreneurs and create meaningful community connections.
Hula is so much more than a place to work. It’s a hub where community, innovation, talent, and entrepreneurship come together—with a deep commitment to helping people and businesses thrive.
At its heart, Hula believes that thriving people build thriving companies and that a stronger, more connected community can help create a brighter economic future for Vermont.
Women Rising was born at Hula, so having them as a sponsor and hosting the Summit on their campus couldn’t be more aligned.
