The first photo is me when I moved to New York City 10 years ago. I knew no one, didn’t have a paying job or a permanent place to live. In the decade that followed I’ve made friendships that will last a lifetime, got a job designing clothes like I always wanted, lived in 3 boroughs (decided I’m a Queens girl), traveled the world, met my husband, adopted some cats, found out I’m Jewish and was confirmed and moved into a new home I love. Feels like a blink of an eye, but also like I’ve been here forever. I’m proud of myself for sticking it out. This shit isn’t easy, as they say. So happy 10 year anniversary New York. Love you, mean it. ❤️
