My wife went the boss babe route, and it backfired.

Here’s the lesson we learned. Men and women are different. We are equal, but we are not the same.

Her business actually took off a year or two before mine did. She had a knack for entrepreneurship, and her business was how we stayed afloat for a bit.

After my business caught up, we started to notice something. Sure, her business gave her a degree of happiness, but not like mine did for me.

She felt something major missing. And we knew what it was.

Her truest deepest purest calling in life wasn’t to make money and look outwards. It was to be a mom, and to look inwards to our family.

Long story short, we started our family and it confirmed it all for us.

She still makes money on the side and uses her creativity and skill to help others… but much more selective - with making as much money as possible NOT on the priority list anymore.

She chooses who she coaches carefully, and isn’t as obsessed with growth like we used to be. Her priority is our daughter.

We realized the outside world is LOUD. And women are getting the worst of it. They’re overstimulated, and have major pressure to fit in, be compared to everyone all the time, and even be successful. The mental health crisis these days confirms it all.

The way we are combatting this is getting far far FAR away. Creating a temple of a home where peace is found and family matters most.

It’s working.

Sure, there are exceptions. Many women will read this and maybe even feel the need to be defensive. This isn’t an attack on you and your choices. This is OUR experience.

Maddie has concluded based on her lived experience that being a mom is the most fulfilling calling in life she has had, and nothing else compares. Even building a business empire and making great money. She is perfectly aligned. And we aren’t going back.

Grateful to God for guiding us. We will go where He wants us to go, always. May His will be done, not ours.

Welcome to Oak Ranch 🌾🏔️

Maddie and I lived in Idaho from 2015-2019 and absolutely loved it. We knew we’d be back someday.

It became my lifelong goal to purchase a property up here where I could host retreats and provide something for our athletes that you don’t normally see in the fitness space.

So blessed to make this dream a reality.
- 8 Acres
- Volcano mountain in the back yard for trail runs and hikes
- Private shooting range going in on property
- The Snake River for fishing and water sports
- Teton view
- Public land for off roading/shooting
- Sand Dunes for dune buggies
- Grand Teton NP and Yellowstone NP within 1-2 hours away

And the thing I’m most excited for: the TUA HQ gym going in ASAP. A (hopefully) 2,800+ square ft private gym on property for bringing all my athletes into one place.

My favorite thing about my job is I get to facilitate incredible experiences for people. Oak Ranch takes that to the next level. Our TUA events are just gonna keep getting better and better.

Not only is this a safe haven for my little family, away from all the noise and distractions of the world, but it also opens the doors for so many exciting things for TUA and our athletes.

So, welcome to Oak Ranch. See yall here in 2027 🏔️⚡️

Once a Teton boy, always a Teton boy. BE UNCOMMON.
