The Big Stu

After years of dedication, hard work, and relentless perseverance, I am excited to introduce *The Big Stu* to the Glenside and Greater Philadelphia area.

Founded in 2023, *The Big Stu* is a home recording studio I established with a passion for music and creativity. Currently in the process of becoming a fully operational LLC, my goal is to share this unique and dynamic space with fellow artists and creatives.

I am thrilled to collaborate with talented individuals and help bring their musical visions to life in this intimate yet powerful studio environment.

I invite you to spread the word about this exciting new venture! Share this page, post about us in your stories, and leave a comment. I look forward to building a vibrant community here, where I’ll be sharing valuable content like microphone and recording techniques, behind-the-scenes moments, humorous music clips, and highlights from the talented bands I’m currently working with.

Cheers,
Theo

First image is my original biz card.
I’m a long story long gal so buckle up ⬇️

I’m a little late with my 2024 recap.. but what a friggen year dude. I started making merch in 2023 after being laid off from corporate and deciding I was going to go rogue and figure out entrepreneurship. I hadn’t met anyone, we had zero Gizz friends. I hadn’t been to a meet up, hadn’t even started this page.. not until the Detroit Acoustic show.
My husband couldn’t get there until the next day so went by myself, nervous as all hell because I was so friggen stoked to connect with peeps IRL and see if ppl liked my merch outside of Etsy.

I’m SO grateful to @kinggizzard and the incredible memories, friendships, and experiences I was able to have this year. Endless gratitude to @panachelady @panachebooking @pdoomrecords.
THANK YOU SO MUCH to the homies who’ve supported me, and bought my merch - a lot of us have become friends through it, and that’s even more cool. I still remember being in our hotel room in Chicago, where we took River to his first Gizz show.. and I said to Justin - “I know this sounds crazy, butttt.. I may need to go to a bit more of this tour” 😅
Dude, major shout out to the ones who have supportive partners because entrepreneurship is hard and @jgrif216 is the goat 🐐
But this year I grew by 300%, I reached over 700+ sales and all 5-Star reviews. I took my KGLW Coloring Book off Amazon and printed it on my own terms. I experimented with new methods, platforms and completely erased and rebuilt my website (self-taught so it takes a bit longer).

Music has always been a driving force in my life, and I’m so grateful to live in a time where @kinggizzard exists because they’ve literally changed my life, inspired me, motivated me, and keep me humble. They’re such amazing role models.

SOOOO .. with all of that said… we are continuing to evolve over here.
