Congratulations Coach Claudio!! CIFA’s new U20 National Team Coach!
While we are sad to see Coach Claudio leave his full-time post at ESM we are thrilled to know that our national football programme is gaining such a passionate and knowledgeable coach!
Here is what Claudio has to say about his new opportunity... “When I arrived on the Island I was not sure what to expect. I had just finished a not so good experience in India and I was about to embrace a new one. When I receive a call from Virgil at ESM I knew that something Great was about to happen. The last year was an Amazing and Wonderful experience with ESM. I had the opportunity to work in an environment where I was responsible for developing our Cayman children, our Cayman Islands Football future, using the sport I love. I coached our children with all my heart, but what surprised me most was what I’ve learned. This past year has made me a better Coach and a better human. I am so Grateful and Thankful to ESM to make this opportunity possible. The opportunity to come to Cayman was definitely a huge step up in my career as Professional Coach and as a Person.
It’s a Great Honor to represent this country. I promise to continue to work hard for football in the Cayman Islands, and to give my whole heart to achieve great things.
Thank you ESM and Thank you Virgil and Shannon for everything you have done to support my development and my goal as a football coach”
Bless you all
Cláudio Garcia
