Just dropped my son off in Boston for his senior year at CATS Academy. Quick day trip got him moved in, made sure he was straight, and now it’s time to WORK.

I’m trusting the welcoming coaching staff with this next chapter, and the expectations are HIGH. This ain’t a vacation. This ain’t just basketball. Handle business in that classroom, handle business on that court, and take advantage of every opportunity in front of you.

Ain’t nothing changed but the STATE. Same hunger. Same mission. Same pressure.

Samartine, you know what we talked about, man. Stay focused, stay disciplined, stay humble and remember WHY you’re there. Everything you said you wanted is right in front of you now.

HUNTING HOUNDS. 🐕🏀

This post doesn’t need a long caption. Philly vs Baltimore went down and I was in the building. Philly Pride vs Team Thrill 17U was highly anticipated! Go tap in on the YouTube channel (Link in bio)

Son,

AAU is officially over, and I just want you to know how proud I am of you. For the past three years, you’ve given this game everything you had. You left it all on the court, pushed through pain, sacrificed your body, and never stopped competing. You don’t owe AAU anything because you gave it your absolute all 110% every single time.

Always remember that character isn’t built by your victories; it’s built by how you respond to setbacks and what you choose to do next. The way you handle adversity will always say more about you than any trophy ever could.

This is just one chapter of your journey, not the end of your story. Keep your head up, stay humble, keep working, and trust that God has a plan for your life that maybe bigger than basketball you never know just keep working.

I’m proud of the athlete you’re becoming, but I’m even more proud of the young man you’re growing into. Thank you for letting me be a part of every step of this journey. I’ll always be in your corner, no matter where life takes you.

Love ❤️ Dad
