In January 2024, during an exchange year through my course at university, a baby DJ Cazzmo was living in Melbourne and discovering the depth of the scene and the insane musical talent coming out of the southern hemisphere. In this clip i was playing a bassline flip id found of a famous Kiwi tune ‘Everything - P Money’ from a producer who went by ‘DJ Bax’. At the time I was just trying to show the sounds that Sheffield City had to offer, and a guy from Aoterora, NZ, on the opposite fucking side of the globe was being inspired by our music scene and having fun creating his own spin on it. Which leads us almost 3 years later to now, where his famous flips of various songs and unique and original production style has taken our entire country by storm, top to bottom. And im gassed to say, TOMORROW I WILL BE SUPPORTING THE ONE AND ONLY FUCKING @djb4x ON HOME SOIL IN SHEFFIELD CITY BABY!!! ❤️🕺💃🪩

Recent freelance gigs for various folks, building stages for Okoru, tuning rigs (some of which police weren’t fond of), the biggest spanner you’ve ever seen, very serious bar clearouts with the besties, even more serious Boomtown meetings (crazy posture), and father Billington winning at beer pong. Currently at boomtown building @deviantlounge.boomtown with the best team, and helping run the theatre office during the live - pics of various offices to follow. Come say hi if you’re in the fields!

You’ve seen Rigs Out For Gaza, you’ve seen some epic event collabs (although not for nearly a year), but believe it or not the last time Bristol saw a solo Riggy Stardust party was nearly 3 years ago. That’s over 1000 days without a Riggy night out, so to quench your thirst we’re coming back with the biggest bang imaginable, debuting a monumental 3-metre-tall wall of purple speakers with 24kW of power behind it. We’ve got a ridiculous lineup of artists specially curated to make you bounce, skank and rave hard enough to scare off any unsuspecting fresher that walks in by accident. Genres including but not limited to: jackin, electro, hardtrance, tribe, tekno, speedbass, hardtek and cheese! In case you’re not familiar with any of these amazing DJs, you can read their full bios on the Headfirst listing. Tickets are available NOW starting from a fiver for the true rig heads. Last entry is midnight but arriving earlier is recommended to avoid queues. Strictly 18+ with ID required for entry. This event is a safe(r) space and will not tolerate any form of harassment or discrimination. If you feel uncomfortable for any reason please speak to a member of crew or staff. A little throwback to our first outing at Resonance with Sonic Sirens. 💗☁️ With a fully 12v solar powered sound system! This was our first little hello to the teknival world : a chance to bring our crew together, wheel out our homemade sound system, and share what we’ve been building. Big love to everyone who stopped by, danced, listened, hugged the fluff, chatted, or helped make it happen. More pics and more adventures to come 🔊✨

All good things must come to an end, and for B45’s infamous ‘Bristol Goes Hard’ night, that time is now. After providing killer parties to cure Bristol’s Boomtown and Balter festival blues, as well as providing ravers with their favourite heavy genres when the rest of the city dropped the ball, it’ll surely leave a hole in the scene. To make sure we’re finishing with a bang, we’ve planned a massive two-room lineup of the finest thumps and bumps the SW has to offer. With 4x4, prog, acid techno, bounce, hardtek and core, it’ll serve as the perfect post-Boomtown comedown cure one last time! ROOM 1: Bounce, acid techno, tekno, hardtek 23:00-00:00 Forge 00:00-01:00 The Dissident 01:00-02:00 Acid Bloom 02:00-03:00 Charles The Princess ROOM 2: jackin, bass house, prog, trance, hard basslines >:) 22:00-23:00 Oliver Double You 23:00-00:00 Bwubbz 00:00-01:00 THEO-3 b2b DJ SOUP 01:00-02:00 DJ Feline 02:00-03:00 Monochopsis b2b Bassline Bubz Basement 45 operates a zero tolerance policy towards bullying, harassment, prejudice, or unpleasant behaviour of any kind.
