You know the person who introduced you to your favorite movie, your favorite place, or to your favorite person.

A while ago I was introduced to my best friend, my favorite person - Jesus.

I know a most of us have a bad representation of religion, church, or anything in between and I have had a lot of those moments myself.

Yet, there was a consistent theme of people who cared enough to share who Jesus actually was, not the guy in the sky who is mad at me or judges me, but someone who loves me so much He never left me.

I had the absolute privilege of getting to introduce my best friend, the true version of who Jesus is to families and children in the small village of Chel a few weeks ago.

The blessing of trips like these is they are not a finish line but a starting point. I get to continue to do that here at home. I get to keep sharing who Jesus is and how He has changed my life.

That’s my purpose, what’s yours?
