I want to give a huge shout-out to all the NYC venues which were absolutely essential in helping me develop my material for the volcano comedy special!

I would not have been able to properly hone my jokes without the stage time they provide. There are way too many rooms across the city that were part of my process to mention them all, but these ones have been the most critical in shaping the show:

1. Grove 34 is an awesome comedy club in Astoria where I got to run the show in full a few times before taking it on the road.

2. QED is another killer comedy club that I got to test out volcano jokes at their shows and open mics.

3. Caveat is an incredible space for nerdy, unique comedy shows and it’s always a blast telling jokes there.

4. The Open Mic Under The Stairs, the only open mic in NYC that was generous enough to put up with me doing Powerpoint Comedy, shout out to Hadley for dealing with all my slides, especially when my clicker would break down!

Thanks again for all the stage time that you provide for me and other comics, artists, and people doing weird stuff in NYC!

Throw back to alternative open mic nights at Under St Marks Theater in the East Village, NYC. Thank you to the most supportive group of creatives.

These weird comedy songs ended up being part of my solo show @denied_theshow at Edinburgh Fringe, Soho Theatre, and VAULT festival.
