Pause. Pray. Speak. ⏸️🙏🏾🗣️

Before you respond, pause long enough to notice what’s happening in you. 🧠❤️

Before you let hurt, fear, frustration, or assumptions do the talking, invite God into it. 🙏🏾

Then use your voice in a way that tells the truth and builds connection. 🤝🏾

Healthy communication doesn’t mean hiding what you feel. It means letting God shape what’s in your heart before it comes out of your mouth. ❤️➡️🗣️

This week, try it before one important conversation:

⏸️ PAUSE. What am I actually feeling?
🙏🏾 PRAY. Lord, speak to my heart first.
🗣️ SPEAK. Say what needs to be said with truth, grace, and love.

GOD MUST REALLY LOVE ME!!

This year has had a lot of ups and downs… but there’s been a few constants. Our faith ✝️, our love ❤️ , our conversations 👩🏾‍❤️‍👨🏾, our inappropriate laughter 🤭, our family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Alaina, you are God’s answer to my prayers. Happy Birthday sweetheart. It’s an honor and privilege to watch you grow from faith to faith and glory to glory.

God’s call on your life is obvious. The way you Pastor @empowermentnola, the way you break down the Word, the way you help people through @theorganizedmoney, the way you care for our family, the way you impart into our girls, the way you cover me in prayer… you are anointed for this!

I’m looking forward to see what 45 has in store for you. And I’m blessed that I get to stand right beside you, cheering you on as God does it!!

I’m reading through the Bible in a year… but if I’m honest, it may take me a little longer because I do miss a day here and there. 😊

I’ve decided not to put unnecessary pressure on myself. The goal isn’t to finish as fast as possible, it’s to spend time with God, understand His Word, and let it transform me.

Today is Day 4, and the reading focuses on creation, reminding us that God is the Creator of everything and the One above all things. There’s something so grounding about starting the Bible by recognizing who He is.

What a beautiful celebration attending this year Women’s Empowerment Brunch. It was filled with love, encouragement, and reminders of the fruit we are called to grow in our lives. The vibrant colors, beautiful decor, and amazing women in the room were a reflection of the beauty God places in each of us. From the laughter to the prayers and connections made, it was a moment of renewal, inspiration, and gratitude. Thank you Pastor @theorganizedmoney for bringing these beautiful women together in purpose and praise. I am truly blessed!!

We are heartbroken to hear about the passing of Bro. Ronell Johnson @roobone1. He was more than a great horn player and church member… Ronell was a bright light and a joy to all he encountered. We continue to keep his wife Rachel and their entire family lifted in prayer. Play on with the angels, Ronell!! 🪊 🎶

You don’t have to pretend you’re strong all the time. 🙏🏾

Some of us were taught that weakness means failure. But Scripture shows us something different: God’s strength works best in weakness.

If we keep pretending we don’t have weak places, we may miss the place where God wants to show us His strength. 🙌🏾

You don’t have to carry it alone.
