On behalf of my family and myself, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you who stood with us during the Homegoing Celebration of my beloved son, Darrell Robinson Jr. Your prayers, presence, and expressions of love brought comfort during this deeply difficult time. May God bless you richly for your kindness and support.

BURYING 1 Of MY BEST FRIENDS BUT CELEBRATING HIS LIFE YESTERDAY was one of the Hardest moments ever! 😢💔 But I must REJOICE because I know You are in heaven now, & I find a sense of Peace in that. The company we keep is crucial because you will become as wise as your wise company and as foolish as the foolishness you surround yourself with. JDR held us All accountable, taught us, gave us wisdom, and even toward his end, ALWAYS FOUND a way to encourage us. Im so thankful for this #brotherhood you created! I THANK #GOD for your presence in my life these past 25 years. I PROMISE TO UP HOLD THAT STANDARD OF LIVING MY BROTHER!!! WE LOVE YOU AND MISS U DEARLY, but you will forever be our pulse and rhythm down here on earth…
Until we meet again @darrellrobinsonjr 🕊️🙏🏾🖤

(THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR A BEAUTIFUL SERVICE , THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO HAS REACHED OUT, EVERY ARTIST AND MUSICIAN WHO CAME THRU OR SOWED INTO HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN. YOUR GREAT EFFORTS AND WORKS ARE SO APPRECIATED TO CONTINUE DARRELL’s #LEGACY)

Darrell…smh
I keep losing my peers and I am not ok…

20+ years of working off and on with Darrell and 30+ years of knowing his family. This is painful…
Just days before I moved to Alabama I got to see him one more time and tell my bro that I loved him…I didn’t know it would be the last time. I would have lingered and had a deeper conversation or just to reminisce on all of the years we’ve had our adventures on the road and at church or when I kept nudging him to marry his girlfriend who is now his wife 🥹…

You don’t realize how tightly you will hold on to those passing memories until that person passes away. The memories become the greatest treasure you hold of them.

Just thinking back now to my new treasures…from our Musiqsoulchild #Cannon days to when he would always call me to host “Sunday Night Live” to hosting Thanksgiving sheds after the parades to singing for their making the band episodes to singing at every family member’s wedding or funeral to studio sessions to every local showcase at Yesha ballroom to singing for every special event the band put on whenever Darrell would call I would answer. This is rough…please give us strength Lord 🙏🏾

Please keep his entire family in prayer as they navigate through this…this can’t be easy for them. I am praying 🙏🏾 Darrell we all love you! Rest for now 🕊️🕊️🕊️💔

I don’t own the rights to this music
