Wellness Wednesday: A Clubhouse Conversation | The Ballot Party.

A night of firsts. The beginning of something bigger.

On October 14, we brought our community together for a nonpartisan conversation on ballot education, meaningful connection, and the issues that shape our lives.

Wellness Wednesday creates the space. Clubhouse Conversations brings people to the table. Creatively Curated ATL is building something that extends far beyond the room.

Think culture, conversation, meaningful relationships, and the kind of connections that open doors. A place where talent meets opportunity, ideas find collaborators, and community becomes a catalyst for growth.

Thank you to @perrinbostic for guiding the conversation, @votewithsway for supporting the experience and providing voter guides, @theoutletproject_ for helping bring community perspectives into the conversation, @elijahcraig for their contribution, our DJ @_notyourlittlefriend , our vendors @chef_bran_sweets for those Key Lime Cupcakes🍋‍🟩, everyone behind the scenes, @iam.will.iam3 and @thedarwinhotel for hosting us. To my right hand @marvinmadeit I appreciate you more than you know 💯

To everyone who showed up and everyone helping shape what’s next, thank you.

Atlanta has no shortage of places to go. We’re interested in what happens when the right people come together.

Connect. Build. Grow.

Follow @creativelycuratedatl We’re just getting started.

FROM OVERLOOKED TO OVERBOOKED. 💙

I remember being told I didn’t fit in certain rooms. That I didn’t belong. That who I was, how I showed up, or what I carried wasn’t what those spaces were looking for.

So I stopped waiting for an invitation.

I started creating rooms of my own.

Rooms where people feel seen.
Rooms where our stories matter.
Rooms where healing can happen out loud.
Rooms where you don’t have to shrink yourself just to belong.

Today, I’m grateful to share that my story and the work behind @theoutletproject_ have been featured in VoyageATL.

This isn’t just a feature for me. It’s another reminder that sometimes the rooms that overlook you are simply pushing you toward the ones you were meant to build.

Thank you @voyageatl for the feature and for giving me the space to tell my story.

And trust me… there is SO much more to come.

Full story at the link in my bio.

I started The Outlet Project with a vision, but I learned quickly that vision alone isn’t enough. You need people willing to believe, build, challenge, protect, and carry it with you. Every person you’ve seen highlighted in this series represents a piece of TOP that I could never build alone. I’m proud to serve as Founder & CEO, but I’m even more proud of the people I get to call my team, my partners, and my friends. This may have started with my story, but it was never supposed to end with me. 💜

ANN DUDLEY | Board Chair

Ann, having you as our Board Chair means having someone I trust helping protect the vision while also challenging us to think bigger. I value your wisdom, your leadership, and the way you show up with intention. Beyond the title, I’m grateful for the relationship we’ve built and for knowing I have someone in my corner who genuinely wants to see me and The Outlet Project succeed. 💜

REGINALD DEMARLD | Board Vice Chair

Reggie, you’ve been more than a Vice Chair to me. You’ve been a friend, a supporter, and somebody I know I can lean on. I value the perspective, energy, and accountability you bring to TOP, but I value our friendship even more. Thank you for believing in this vision and being willing to help build it with me. 💜

TIFFANI VICKS | Board Secretary

Tiffani, your presence on this board means so much to me because I know the heart behind it. You bring consistency, thoughtfulness, and a genuine desire to see TOP grow the right way. I appreciate how seriously you take what we’re building, but I appreciate our relationship and your support of me just as much. Thank you for being part of this journey. 💜

WILLIAM CRAWFORD | Chief Operating Officer

Will, there aren’t many people I would trust to help me carry something this personal. As COO, you help turn my vision into something we can actually execute, but our relationship goes far beyond a title. You’ve become a true partner in this work and a friend I can depend on. Thank you for believing in me, challenging me, and helping me build TOP from the inside out. 💜

BRITTANI SADE | Chief Programs Officer

Brittani, so much of what TOP stands for has to eventually become something people

I’m learning what it really means to be a CEO.

It’s bigger than having the title. It’s knowing when to say yes and having the confidence to say no without feeling guilty about it. It’s being clear about what I will accept, what I won’t accept, and what simply doesn’t align with me or the organization I’m building.

I’m naturally a kind person. I lead with compassion. I try to understand people. I give grace. I want people to feel valued and respected when they work with me. But I’m learning that kindness without boundaries can quickly turn into people expecting access, accommodations, and exceptions that were never promised.

That stops here. Being kind does not mean I can be taken advantage of. Being understanding does not mean my boundaries are negotiable. Saying no does not make me difficult. Holding someone accountable does not make me mean. And protecting myself, my team, and my organization does not require an apology.

Moving forward, I’m standing confidently in my YES and just as confidently in my NO. I can have a good heart and still have strong boundaries. I can lead with compassion and still make tough decisions. I can care about people without sacrificing myself to keep everyone happy.

That’s the CEO I’m becoming. And I’m standing firmly in it. 💜

Today felt good. Being around people who are all different, but aligned in creating community, connection, and safe spaces for the heavy stuff we don’t always make room for as adults.

Cool people doing cool shit with purpose.

Healing Out Loud is tomorrow, and I’m grateful to be part of something meaningful and to be forever connected with these beautiful people.
