@burgerdrops celebrated 6 years this past Saturday in Toronto at their restaurant. To celebrate 6 years, Burger Drops collaborated with @motzburger from @hamburger_america! Chef Greg and Chef George teamed up to grill George’s famous fried onion cheeseburgers for only $6 as their special. Burger Drops brought the community, with notable faces such as @chefdwightsmith, @theoxtailpapi, @torontofood, @chefaleem, @saucehavemercy & @sueknows.

To Greg, Katherine, Connie, Jay and the whole Burger Drops team. Thank you for welcoming me the past 2 days celebrating 6 years with the company. Thank you for making me feel a part of your team. I am grateful for being a part of a momentous occasion.

To George, Mauri and Seth. I hope Toronto treated you amazing and gave you a warm welcome. I hope to see you all next time! Thank you for blessing us with your presence, conversations and cooking.

Thank you to Toronto for the continued support in a local business such as Burger Drops!

Lot of folks told me to try this spot when I was hunting for Guyanese. I was out west of North York so I tried em out
...
They're nostalgic for a lot of folks and I'm told it tastes like back home in Guyana (I Dont know and don't pretend to know) so I went for myself to see
...
Good food but is it the best? Idk. I've been to a lot of spots (mainly in Scarborough) so let me know if there's a favorite I need to try

🔥🇯🇲 JERKFEST VIBES + BIG VISITORS! 🇯🇲🔥

A huge THANK YOU to Food Network star @chefdwightsmith and the infamous viral @theoxtailpapi for pulling up to the Da House of Jerk booth at JerkFest! 🙌🏾🔥

We had to make sure the experience was unforgettable — from our signature jerk flavours to our seafood delicacies and, of course… CROCODILE! 🐊🔥 Yes, you read that right! We brought the heat, the flavour, and something a little wild to the table! 😮‍💨🔥

Big respect to both of you for coming through, showing love, and tasting what Da House of Jerk is all about. 🇯🇲❤️

Authentic Caribbean flavour. Bold. Unforgettable. From our house to yours. 🏠🔥

Nothing but good food and good vibes at JerkFest 🇯🇲

We tried everything from jerk crocodile with callaloo from Da House of Jerk, 9 miles Famous curry goat Jamomos, some of the best jerk pork I’ve ever had from trelawny Jerk, Delicious Corn Soup from the King himself, GC Express’ mango jerk, and checked out Tricnics enormous grill that can fit over 100 pieces at once!!

Add a few ice-cold @redstripeca to wash it all down and you’ve got yourself a pretty perfect afternoon.

Beautiful day, incredible food and a whole lot of Jamaican flavour. JerkFest never disappoints.

I'VE BEEN COOKING YALL!!!
It is with great pleasure that I announce my new partnership! i Am the official Canadian ambassador for #cookingthegoodnetwork a radio station dedicated 100 percent to indie artists WORLDWIDE. Each program is designed with indie artists in mind

I have partnered with some of the top djs from Atlanta to Toronto to help preserve the culture as well as give indie artist the support we need and DESERVE!

Currently the concept of being an indie artist has been taken over by MAJOR record labels having their artists cosplaying what indie REALLY have to go through. And it's kind of insulting truthfully. The struggle is REAL not content! Indie artists its OUR time to shine!

Your first 30 days of rotation are FREE so long as your music is submitted to the email provided and a CLEAN radio friendly version NO EMAIL SUBMISSION, NO CONSIDERATION!

After your first 30 days you have the option of tapping into one of our promo packages to continue your journey to greatness with us. There will be many stations but NONE will be like #cookingthegoodnetwork

🚨 NEW JERSEY… YOU WIN. 🚨

If you’re anywhere near Tops Diner at 500 Passaic Ave., East Newark (right on the Harrison border), do yourself a favor and GO. @TheTopsDiner

Since 1942, Tops has become a New Jersey institution. Their stunning Art Deco-inspired space blends classic diner nostalgia with a modern upscale feel, and it’s easy to see why it’s one of the busiest and most beloved restaurants in the state. They even have a vinyl station where you can play some of hip-hop‘s greatest classics! 🎧🎙️

Now for the REAL reason I’m posting…

🔥🔥🤯 THE OX BURGER.🔥🔥

This may be the best burger I’ve ever had! EVER!

A perfectly grilled beef patty topped with unbelievably tender slow-braised oxtail, sweet-and-savory bacon jam, melted cheese, all on a soft buttery brioche bun. Every bite was rich, juicy, and ridiculously satisfying. It was one of those meals where the entire table went silent because everyone was too busy eating.

That’s always a good sign. 😂

Most of our crew ordered the Ox Burger too (that should tell you everything). @DJTons went with the incredible Rasta Pasta featuring blackened jerk chicken in a Cajun parmesan cream sauce (FIRRRREE 🔥🔥🔥), while JP (@jpeeezy_ ) kept it classic with a late breakfast.

Safe to say…

✅ Every trip back to New Jersey now includes a stop at Tops Diner.

Huge shout-out to our server Carlito (JahKobeMusic). Your energy, recommendations and hospitality made an amazing meal even better. Everyone go check out his music!

…and thanks for talking me out of ordering the calamari. 🤣🤣

Have you been to Tops Diner? What’s your go-to order?

Yo, mans like @officialgiggs I know you visited Tops Diner as well. Did you have the Ox burger?

If you haven’t… trust me. Put this place on your list. 🍔🔥
