This is a TRIAL REEL and I've had almost zero traction with them so far. 🤷🏻‍♀️ If you do see this, please do let me know.

♡ How are we all doing? ♡

Let me know if you need a virtual hug!! I'd love one!! 😊

🫣 I'm currently celebrating not having a breakdown. 🙌

30-something me would be super impressed how chill almost-50-year-old me is being. 🤗 I'm not stuck in bed spiraling, so that is a huge win!!

Shout out to my fellow Canadian small businesses. 😘

📦 Navigating the US removal of a de minimus at the end of Aug was (is) a hurdle I was (am) really proud of.
Deep breaths & pivot.

📦 Then, last week, Canada Post delivery workers walked out on strike. I am not weighing in on if I think it's good or bad... but, as a small business who relies on them to even function... I'm taking LOTS of deep breaths. 🤕

🖌 So, I did some doodling. 《 SWIPE 》

📝 I also have been prepping a new PDF bundle release!!

🪡 Just a reminder...

📺 I made the free YT beading tutorials so that you can (a) get extra help when working on the beading kits and (2) have a sneaky gander before you buy kits to see if they are for you or not.

Checking out the beading tutorials is a great way to help beginners decide if they think they can do some of the trickier kits - like this Thistle Earring Beading kit.

📑 Yes, each beading kit comes with some detailed step-by-step instructions that include diagrams. But some of us learn better through watching it be done.

🤪 Oh, and I'm a bit of an ADHD nutter on the videos, so have fun. #tangent

Happy Fringe Friday, friends!!
(Say THAT 10 times fast 😆)

✨️ Velaris ☆ City of Starlight

✨️ With the recent teaser about ACOTAR 6-8 drafts being completed, I noticed a boost of booktok /romantasy fans / bookstagram traffic checking out the Velaris & Ramiel earrings featuring the Court of Dreamers favourite hidden city.

✨️ Have you started reading Crescent City, yet??
It was my favourite part of the Maasiverse.

♡

Find some made-to-order earrings in the sh0p, as well as beading kits and seed bead patterns.

✨️ Coming this week!!

🔆 Mixed Findings Packs

🤞 I hope!! 😆

📦 As long as the last part of my stock refill doesn't get held up in transit. 🤷🏻‍♀️

🔆 I appreciate all the requests for findings packs! I love that my 🇺🇸 customers don't have to pay all those silly tar!ff$ when receiving my parcels from 🇨🇦.

🔆 Mixed Findings Packs include a variety of findings that are used in my bead designs and curated to go with my seed beading patterns. It also includes the exclusive triangle horizon finding that I designed. 😁

🪡 Thread always wins !!

🪡 When you first start beading, expect to find threads looped around places you didn't notice while making the item. It happens. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So, go slow and steady. Keeping an eye on that sucker at all times. 🧐

🪡 Even when you've been beading 30+ years like me, the thread will own you. Especially if you decide to shoot free beading tutorial videos for people. 😆

🪡 So, the lesson here: It happens to all of us. Don't fret. Just slow down and don't freak out.

🪡 A little WIP video for your midweek morning.

📺 All beading kits come with step-by-step diagrams and written instructions, but I also have free beading tutorial videos that can be found on my YT for some additional assistance.

📺 If you haven't watched my beading tutorials before... the most common comment I receive about them is that its like hanging out with a friend. 🥰 Don't worry, people say they're helpful, too. 😁 But, I go on tangents like we are chatting, sooooo... be prepared. 🤪

🩷❤️🤎🧡💛💚🩵💙💜

Did you know that the Moroccan colour palette for the Beaded Fringe Earrings kit and the Woven Beaded Rays kit each have 20 colourful beads in them?!

It's a great way to play with a variety of beautiful matte finish Toho Japanese Glass round seed beads.

Maybe you'll find your next favourite colours in there!!

Some of my favourites are in there!! 😍
