My mother was far from the greatest parent! As a matter of fact she wasn't a parent at all. She was just a; "Custodial guardian"! Don't let that go over your head. Custodial guardians and a Parent are 2 totally different lifestyles. But one thing my mother did do was tell me the #Truth about everybody not being my friend. The hating type of "niggas" who hate to see you Win, who's #love was circumstantial and pretend. My mother also kept her feelings about my father to herself. She wasn't bitter at all. She never attempted to turn me against him. She simply let me grow up and see who he was for myself. Unlike a multitude of Spiritually disconnected, religiously lost, miserably unhappy, toxic, bitter raggedy bitches who destroyed the relationship between the kids and co-parent, just like my youngest daughter mother who still hates my guts in the most evil and racist way even right now today, because I left her alone and started dating white women. She called me a sellout and coon; but at least I wasn't cheating. I left her alone and moved on with my life. When it comes to #love I don't discriminate like racist people who were taught racism in their household. #hate and #racism was something else that my mother never taught me or my siblings. Lost souls are incapable of keeping their personal issues separate from the world, kids, and the workplace. If you're reading this; I respectfully request for you let me know if I make sense to you at all; and please correct me if I'm wrong. Feel free to share your Perspective on this subject as well. Simply because all Perspectives matter. 🌎

Today is world Pi (π) day the annual celebration of the mathematical constant observed on March 14 every year since 3,1,4 are the first three significant figures of the number π. As a STEM graduate, this number has always fascinated me with its theory and various applications beyond the usual high school mathematics. So I just thought to write something on it as if it was some fictional human character👾.

What intrigues me is...Pi is an interesting irrational, infinite number drawing parallels with spiritual living when it comes to faith, suffering, survival, God. The infinite complexity of reality, truths that cannot be explained, like a mind trying to measure the immeasurable. Mathematically, π tries to make sense of a circle. Spiritually, we try to make sense of chaos, suffering and randomness. Do we ever complete the full circle of life, like we sometimes casually say - "Life has come a full circle" and everything is sorted...really?

Thank you so much @printmesomecolor for your awesome beginner friendly tutorials on drawing with Adobe Fresco. Do let me know how it turned out to be. I know it's still raw🤐😄. I had fun making all these. Just a beginner getting familiar with brushes and pressure points. Besides am still working with a mouse🤦 as I don't have a Ipad yet maybe soon. The second slide is like if π was a fictional human character( I couldn't make it cuter enough) would be a mysterious super human types☺️. The third slide is just me trying to reminisce about my kindergarten like we have all grown up into adulting and there are no kids at school, no swings or slides no boundaries still we are chained, because the child inside somewhere is lost or perhaps died. The fourth one is a complete abstract.

Also, thanks a bunch to @thepaperbeings for the inspiration with her beautiful illustrations🙌🫶. When words elude drawing is the best medicine I believe, I don't know how others feel but that's just me...

Poem 151 to Song : "Open to Life" - A response poem to the poems I read last week. ✨✍️

This is a poem response to the poems I read about how the holiday season can be a tough time for some people. Life isn't easy, there is loss, grief 🪽acknowledging the gift of life and living it the best that we can. Thank you for these sentiments affirming that it's ok to not be ok. @justtryingtobeoriginal @misslissawrites @thepaperbeings

From that, I wanted to write something encouraging to remind ourselves that life is happening for you and not to give up and keep on walking this path of life.

Open to Life

Verse 2 ( even in "rain" some may think it's bad weather but it's needed for beautiful things to grow )

The rain speaks truths as it hits the ground
Eac drop a rhythm, each one profound
The road twists tight but it turns around
And the echo of hope is the sweetest sound

Pre Chorus (changing/shifting perspective)
If our path runs out, the stars align
The universe shifts and makes it mine

Chorus ( reminder that life's happening for you )
Life's still happening for you
Every moment breaking thru
Hold on to the NOW - let it shine
One heartbeat at a time ( life happens one heartbeat, thought, moment by moment at a time )

I wrote this with mindfulness in mind to emphasize focusing on the good in the NOW. The past is gone and the future is uncertain. It calls for mindfulness and appreciating the only moment we can truly influence, the NOW. One Moment by moment at a time with gratitude. So I thought an upbeat light dance pop vibe would be great for the poem.
