POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I had the absolute privilege of coaching an incredible group of athletes from The Friendship Circle tonight. Seeing their enthusiasm, determination, and big smiles reminded me exactly why I love what I do. Thanks to @taniwinslow_ and @taralaxer for volunteering.

OK. I can’t sugarcoat it - I’m disappointed. This training cycle went really well. I felt strong and I felt prepared. However, that did not translate on the platform today.

I finished 12th in the World (out of 17). And I know big picture that’s awesome, but it just felt average.

Now - we ALWAYS, ALWAYS celebrate our WINS. I made a total and qualified for the Masters World Games in Japan next year. Add to that, today's 120 was the most I've cleaned in a competition in over a year after working thru some real mental blocks in that lift.

I know I’m lucky to be able to travel around the world and compete in the sport that I love ~ Strong enough and healthy enough to lift at the @imwa_2026 World Championships - And beyond lucky that Kamy and Kendall & my family are undyingly supportive.

Life is good. I attached my two successful lifts. 90/115. Happy Monday Everybody!

Working on things I don’t like, mainly because I'm not good at them, which is precisely the reason I don’t like them. 😂

Can’t believe it’s been ten years now as a Weightlifter. Commemorating then last time I was actually a Crossfitter @freakinfitness Comp w/ @bperez54 and Hakan….all of us lied to by @tartags.mom to get us to do it.

2026 National Championships in the books. 4/6. 95 ~ 113.

Gold Snatch/Silver C&J/Silver Total. Most I've snatched in two years and last time I did it, I was 10 kilos heavier 😳. So really happy with that. Snatch National Champion sounds cool but that's not really how we keep score so 😂. C&J had been a work in progress and I'm proud to say, I've made progress. The weight doesn't matter, it's the comeback after a miss - following myself (on a short clock) and working thru it to make the lift and not letting one miss turn into two, three, etc... I showed the fuck up Nate @emotionalmentalperformance - and can't thank you enough for the progress we've achieved.

Shout out my boy @bperez54 - another National Champions medal in the Snatch. @andreadirico and @kilokat6 in the back - thank you.

Looking forward to getting back out next weekend @keeppulling Comp on the field in Tampa #rayjay ~ Two in a row again, probably not the best plan but it's gonna be with my gym bestie @tartags.mom - and I'm pumped for that! And he's not on social media but Coach Sean putting in the work for Kimmie and I this cycle. I appreciate you Sir. Thank you.
