My two besties visited me from far away (and warmer weather) this month. We had plans to make a lot of fun content, to go on many adventures, and to treasure our time together. We focused on that last part and forgot about the rest. 🥰😂 Looking back on these photos was so bittersweet. Because what do you mean you are already gone and home again? We often joke that we are coworkers, as being a solopreneur can be a lonely job. But the best part about our businesses is that they brought us together. Love you, Darien and Leslie!! 🩷🩷🩷

I have loved and respected these girls individually for years, and I am so thankful that we grew even closer together over this past year. At a time when I think we all really needed it the most. An absolute God thing bringing us together. This year hasn’t been an easy one for me, and I find it difficult to fully be vulnerable, but having friends love you fiercely and lift you up when you are down is the most special thing. Leslie and Caitlin didn’t hesitate for a second to book the flights and show up for me. They worked beside me, helped me pack up orders, organized my office, loved my children, lifted my spirits, stood beside me through panic attacks, and of course brought all the laughter and joy. A weekend that I will forever cherish, and I can’t ever thank them enough. We weren’t made to do this life alone. I’m blessed to know and love you both.

In the chaos of life it’s easy to focus on the stress, but I have so much to be thankful for when it comes to this portion of my life. That this blessing came to fruition in a time of having postpartum depression. It gave me the ability to continue being a stay at home longer. For continuing to provide for my family for the past 6.5 years. For the people I’ve met that I otherwise never would have. The friendships I’ve made, the community that has been built, and for the beautiful people that have taken a chance on me. All glory to God for this life I have been gifted, and thank you all for being a part of it. - Darien 🧡

So excited to share the new brand and first peek at the website for The Passion Pour, a floral preservation studio turning florals from weddings and significant events into lasting works of art. Working with Leslie has been such a wonderful experience, I have always appreciated her attention to detail in the work she creates and she was such a wonderful collaborator as we worked on this project together. When we set out to reimagine her brand, we wanted to approach the design with a modern, editorial feel and a palette of deep mauves, burgundy, and soft neutrals, we created a visual identity that feels just as timeless as the memories she preserves.
