Daily Dose of Scripture 🩵

There’s something so personal about the way God loves us. He’s not distant, not passive, not waiting for perfection, He pursues.

Jesus paints this picture: a shepherd with 100 sheep, and when just one goes missing… he leaves the 99 to go find it. That means you are never too far, never too lost, never overlooked. Heaven moves for one.

If you’ve been feeling off track, disconnected, or unseen, this is your reminder: God is actively coming after you, not to condemn you, but to bring you back home.

📖 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?”
— Luke 15:4 (NIV)

You are the one He would leave the 99 for. 🤍

Your Daily Dose of Scripture 🤍

Today we’re talking about forgiveness; the kind that stretches you, humbles you, and reflects God’s heart.

In Matthew, Peter asks Jesus how many times we should forgive.. thinking he’s being generous. But Jesus’ response completely flips the standard and shows us that forgiveness isn’t about keeping count, it’s about living in grace.

If you’ve been holding onto hurt, this is your reminder: forgiveness isn’t for them… it’s for your freedom.

📖 Follow along: Matthew 18:21–22

“Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”

Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”

Let this sink in today 🤍

Lord, Allow me never to forget that this is all about you, I Pray that this can touch someone. Even one person Lord, and bring them to you. Bring them to you so they can feel what it’s like to be close to you, to be consumed by your love. To be able to fully depend on you. That they might be granted a peace that they don’t even know how to comprehend.

Lord I’ve seen the way you have moved in my life. I pray in Jesus name that you will allow a seed to be planted so you can move in theirs

We love you so much Lord.

In Jesus name,

Amen 🩵

Jesus is teaching us a different way to live here one that goes against our natural instincts. It’s easy to love people who are good to us, but He calls us higher…to love without conditions, give without expecting, and show mercy even when it’s undeserved. This is what sets us apart.

“But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend expecting nothing in return. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”
