there are no words to describe how grateful I am for this summer. The friends. The students. The connections made. This was truly the best experience of my life! Not often can people brag about how much they love their jobs, and I am so grateful that I can be one of them :))

To my founding fathers, you were truly amazing, each and every one of you made an impact on me!
To my facilitators, I love you guys so much, thank you for an amazing summer!

My heart is so full after an unforgettable week at WLC.

I came in excited, but I’m leaving with friendships, memories, and lessons that I’ll carry with me for a lifetime. It was so special getting to reconnect with old friends while making so many new ones. It’s amazing how people who were strangers just a few days ago can end up meaning so much.

I’m so grateful for my roommates! Thank you for all the memories we have created in such a short amount of time! I am also so grateful for my community group! Thank you for showing me that there is such passionate people in this world that want to make a difference! (Which I unfortunately don’t have a picture of 😔)
The best part of WLC was the people. I met some of the most genuine and inspiring leaders and facilitators, and I know each of you is going to make an incredible impact on the world. I’m so thankful our paths crossed.

Thank you, WLC, for helping me grow as a leader and for giving me memories and friendships I’ll always cherish. 🫶🏽

Thank you WLC. Thank you for all the laughter, friendship, and love. Most importantly thank you for making me a stronger leader. Thank you to my Capital Stewards. Each and every one of you in some way built me up and I will always love and appreciate each and every one of you. And of course to every single friend made and even the ones I’ve always had for showing me genuine friendship.

WLC this is our stop!! 🚇

I had an amazing experience meeting FFA members from all across the country! This conference was such a transformative experience, and I am really grateful for the opportunity to attend. I really enjoyed identifying the issues that our communities share and charting the next steps for us as changemakers to do what we can. Then, exploring how across the country the industries and opportunities in our areas give us what we have. It was so interesting to learn about the different regional landmarks, crops, activities, restaurants, and ways of living that shape our lives where we are and how we can use our identities to boost the livelihood of our communities! 🇺🇲🚜🌾🏙🗽

I really enjoyed spending the week with y'all! It was so nice to meet people who shared the same values and ideas as me. I love hearing your stories and y'all will definitely shape how I go forward as a leader!

I am so glad that we met on the first night. Little did I know that joining an Uno game would shape my WLC experience, but I enjoyed sharing meals and learning about your lives during sessions. We will definitely have to meet up soon!
