POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

There’s something extraordinary about the invisible significance of human connection.

The people we meet. The people we almost meet. The people who talk about us in rooms we’ve never been in to people we may never meet, or who are simply led to us through conversation.

sometimes the most wonderful and life changing connections happen when we stop trying to orchestrate them and simply allow life to work its magic.

Trust the timing. Trust the connections. And perhaps trust the ones that didn’t happen too.

I’ve met some incredible humans recently, and I have absolutely no doubt our paths were meant to cross.

We don’t always need to understand why, what it means or where it might lead.

Sometimes we just need to trust what we feel.
And allow the connection to unfold.

Perfectionism doesn’t say “do better.”
It says “don’t mess this up.”

Notice the difference.
One grows you.
The other keeps you small and exhausted.

Just show up as you. Have fun, f**k it up, have more fun. Learn, grow. BE YOU!!!!

Kate had worked so hard to build a life with financial security. But she couldn't stop.

When I first met Kate two years ago, she was consulting across multiple companies, raising investment, sitting on boards and raising children whilst working 20 hours a day.

The thought of even slowing down made her terrified and anxious. Saying no to a client felt risky. Taking time off came with guilt. There was always more to achieve. More to do, more to prove.

This is because her subconscious was wired to believe success meant working hard, pushing harder and never stopping. And that's the belief that was running her life.

Through our work together, regression therapy and coaching, we uncovered the patterns, the messages she’d absorbed growing up, and the beliefs and identity she carried into adulthood without even realising it.

Whilst working together, Kate dropped every client and started again, choosing the work and life she actually wanted.

She’s built her company and built the life she now wants to experience on her terms. I can't tell you how many times I get the same response when I ask her how things are going.

She replies, “I love my life”

I mean, we can't ask for better than that. What's the point of creating success if you never get to enjoy the life you've worked so hard for?

Sometimes the very pattern that made you successful becomes the same one that will keep you trapped. Success should expand your life. Not consume it.

Save this for when and old story starts deciding your day.

We spend so much of our lives unconsciously repeating old stories about who we are, what we’re capable of, what we can't do or have.

But an old story doesn’t have to become your future.

Sometimes you just need a moment to come back to yourself and consciously choose:
Who am I choosing to be today?
Not the fear.
Not the doubt.
Not the old story.
You.

Save this and come back whenever you need reminding. ❤️

RECODE IS OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT. 💫

This morning, one female founder decided that the last space was hers. But what she really did was take a bet on herself.

And I f**king love that. 🙌 Because every woman joining this first RECODE has made a decision that goes far beyond joining a 10-week cohort.

They’ve made a decision about their future and about the woman they want to be in it.

It’s about making sure an old version of you isn’t making decisions for the woman who has a vision to build something bold, create a life she’s incredibly proud of and actually fucking enjoy it.

I’ve spent four years building RECODE. Testing it. Improving it. First through the work that changed my own life, and then through the people who trusted me to help change theirs.

I know what works. And I know what doesn’t.

And now I get to guide these incredible women through it. Not to become somebody else, but to know themselves so deeply that their past no longer gets to dictate their future.

I’m so bloody proud of every single one of them for choosing themselves.

Now we do the work.

INCREDIBLE WOMEN.
10 WEEKS.
LET’S RECODE. 💫

Anxiety can feel incredibly convincing.

In the moment, the story in your head can feel like fact. Most of the time it is NOT!

So when anxiety starts running the show, don’t immediately react to it.

Pause. Take a breath. A slow deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth, repeat 3-5 times depending on the time you have available. This will release some of the grip and tension the anxiety is having in your body.

1. Name what you’re feeling.
Anxious. Scared. Overwhelmed. Uncertain. Whatever it is, name it.

2. Question it.
I feel “name the feeling” because and I feel that because - work your way down the wheel, until you understand the story behind it. - is it true?

A few other questions if you have time.
What am I actually afraid of?
What story am I telling myself right now?
What am I assuming is going to happen?

3. Reframe the story.
What else could be true?
What would I think if fear wasn’t making the decision?
What is actually within my control right now?

You don’t have to believe every thought that arrives in your head.

The most powerful thing you can do is pause long enough to question it.

Save this for the next time anxiety tries to take over.

"I did nothing wrong. But I built my whole success trying to make up for it anyway." 💔

Tracey Hill on the pattern that nearly cost her everything, chasing approval, carrying guilt that was never hers, and running herself so hard she was blacking out on trains home from work. Success from the outside. Survival on the inside.

"Why? She's having a nervous breakdown." 👀

That's what everyone around Tracey thought when she stepped away from a high flying corporate career. She hadn't lost it, she'd just finally admitted there had to be more to life than a 6am train and missing her daughter's school gate.

This bit hits different. Full episode is up now, find us on your poddy's wherever you listen 🎧

You can build something extremely successful and still live with a constant fear that it could all disappear.

When I work in the minds of successful founders and high performers one thing I know for sure: very often, we’ll find a drive that started in pain.

Mine did too.

So you work harder. Hold tighter. Struggle to switch off.

And the very success you wanted starts costing you the freedom you built it for.

That drive isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It can take you a bloody long way. It can help you build something brilliant.

But the pattern that got you there can be the same pattern that caps you.

Katie certainly didn’t need another business strategy; she is literally the strategy queen. I know this because she gave me the strategy for launching RECODE 😂

What Katie needed was to understand the subconscious operating system that was running her life. To get to the root of what she was experiencing, understand where it came from, and remove what no longer needed to come with her into this next chapter of her life.

Because what’s the point of building the business, creating the money and working towards freedom if you never feel safe enough to actually enjoy any of it?

Success should expand your life, not consume it.

And this is exactly why I created RECODE.

Katie, thank you for trusting me with this work and for sharing your experience so openly. I know many founders will see themselves in your story.

We only have 6 spaces left for RECODE, and it will NEVER happen at this founding member’s price again.
So if you’re ready to get out of your own way, do the inner work that gives you the capacity to build something fucking exceptional without losing yourself in the process, and radically transform the way you experience your life your time is now.

Your life, and your time is the most precious currency you have.

Yet so many of us are living today from a programme built years ago.

Old beliefs. Old wounds. Old fears. Old ways of protecting ourselves that made sense once, but are now quietly setting the ceiling on who we become.

And you can keep going to the events, reading the books, listening to the podcasts and trying desperately to change...

But you can’t change what you can’t uncover.

Most of us spend our lives trying to change what we can see:

The anxiety.
The anger.
The people-pleasing.
The self-doubt.
The scarcity around money.
The fear of losing it all.
The constant feeling that you should be further ahead.

But what if they’re not the problem?

What if they’re the symptoms?

That’s where RECODE goes deeper.

Please know this: you are not broken.

You’re operating from an internal code built by a much younger version of you and you don’t have to let her experiences dictate the rest of your life.

Recode helps you uncover that code, understand it, change it and stop letting it set the ceiling on your future.

So the real question is:

Whose code are you actually living by?

Yours?
Someone else’s?
Or one that simply doesn’t belong in the life you’re creating anymore?

If you’re ready to become the architect rather than the historian, comment RECODE and I’ll send you the details.

The first question I asked myself 7 years ago when I left my 20+ corporate career wasn't - what shall I do now, it was…

Who am I? And I couldn't answer it.
@thepauseeffect.co and everything I went on to learn and create was built from that one simple yet pivotal question. WHO AM I?

Incase anyone is wondering - you're not... Your job. Your trauma. your labels. Your status. Your background or your mistakes. Those are just temporary chapters, not the entire story.

To expand we need to realise our thoughts are energy, emotions are messengers and our unique existence and creative spirit is not random.

Which is why - Understanding who you are is the first step in RECODE. The next step is claiming it. Most would think well that's easy. It's not!

Because it demands something most won't do. - it demands you pause and take full responsibility for what you think, what you say, and what you do.

Once we understand on a deeper level who we are, we stop living as victims of scarcity, and stop playing by societal expectations and start designing an incredible life like the creators we are.

I want you to know this. If you want to explore RECODE, you're not investing in a programme, you're investing in an opportunity to change your entire life.

If you think AI is taking over, watch what this does to the self-development space.

If you're interested. Limited spaces are available. The first 10 weeks are live with me, 1-1 and group. If you have questions book a quick call.

Comment RECODE and I'll send you details.
