A huge thank you to @thepeakflyshop and everyone who joined the open house last Saturday! There’s truly nothing better than the welcoming into my home shop, being surrounded by so many talented anglers and reminiscing about wonderful memories we've shared over the years. I warmly invite you to come visit the new shop and experience the open, inviting layout filled with all kinds of fantastic gear, materials, and apparel. And don’t forget, Sherri sends a big hug! 🤗❤️🎣🙏🏻 #landonmayerflyfishing

This weekend, we had the pleasure of joining @thepeakflyshop for their grand re-opening at their new Colorado Springs location. Rods were cast, flies were tied, and knowledge was shared. There’s nothing better than getting to celebrate the people and shops that make this community so special, and it was great to see them kick off this new chapter with such a party! If you’re in the Colorado Springs area, stop by and see them. They have everything you need (and then some!) to get out on the water.

Planning a bucket-list fly fishing trip to Patagonia is an exciting milestone, but traveling with a host may take the experience to an entirely new level. 🎣✨

A Hosted Trip is about the value, comfort, and camaraderie brought by a trip leader who knows the region inside and out.

Here is what a dedicated host brings to your journey:

1️⃣ Pre-Trip Confidence & Regional Expertise: Your host has spent years exploring Patagonia. Their deep knowledge simplifies your pre-trip prep, answers every question before you pack, and keeps your travel completely hassle-free.

2️⃣ Curated Group Dynamics: A host carefully brings together like-minded anglers, ensuring great chemistry, shared enthusiasm, and lasting friendships long after the trip ends.

3️⃣ Cultural & Downtime Insight: Beyond the river, your host understands the local rhythm, culture, and non-fishing highlights, enriching every moment off the water.

4️⃣ Seamless Synergy: By pairing a trusted host with SouthernLoops’ proven on-the-ground operations and world-class local guides, you get a double layer of quality assurance and peace of mind.

If you value shared camaraderie and expert pre-trip guidance, a hosted trip is hard to beat.

🇦🇷 In Argentina, we take friendship so seriously that we have a national holiday just to celebrate it. 🇦🇷🎣

For us, fly fishing has never been solely about the trophy trout, the pristine rivers, or the breathtaking Patagonia landscapes. It’s truly about who you share the boat with, the late-night stories by the fire, and the bonds that grow stronger with every season.

At SouthernLoops, we foster lifelong friendships with each of our guests.

Today, we want to celebrate all the friends, anglers, and partners who have become part of our family over the years. Thank you for trusting us to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Happy Friendship Day to all!
