This year marks the 5th anniversary of the Dade County Street Response (DCSR) Foot Washing Event, a powerful tradition where students, physicians, and volunteers come together to care for our neighbors in need through the simple, sacred act of washing feet.

Under the leadership of Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine, the true experts in foot and ankle health, this event has always been more than a medical service. It is an act of love, humility, and solidarity. Rooted in the biblical tradition of foot washing, it symbolizes compassion, equality, and service, reminding us that caring for another person’s feet is to recognize their dignity and humanity.

This year, the event continues to grow beyond its origins. In addition to podiatric care, dermatology, internal medicine, pediatrics, and psychiatry will be present, making this a truly holistic community health experience. Together, we aim to address not only the physical but also the mental and spiritual well-being of those we serve.

As we celebrate five years of this living tradition, we honor the biblical spirit that began it — service without hierarchy, healing without judgment, and community without boundaries.

First game for the #SeasonedVetsBallClub 😤 we dove into the deep end by starting this team in the @thepgleague but we look good 💪🏽. Took a game 1 L but there’s plenty to build on. Once we get healthy and get our chemistry dialed in we will be very hard to beat. We didn’t say we were going undefeated, we said we want a ring 💪🏽

Heres a few clips of my game yesterday. We lost by six or seven points can’t remember.

Despite the loss, I felt really good. My body felt great. The pregame helped a lot. 😂

The way I am able to move makes it really hard to guard me 🤷🏽‍♂️

Watch until the End 😂🔥🏀

Every hooper has that moment before the game where you start stretching and already feel your knees fighting back.

You tell yourself you’ll warm up more, maybe roll out a little longer, but deep down you know that ache never really goes away.

For years I felt that same stiffness before every run until I started using Ballers Essentials Pre-Game.

Now it’s the first thing I grab out of my bag before I lace up. The warmth kicks in, my legs feel loose, and my body actually feels ready to move.

It’s crazy how one simple routine can make you feel confident again on the court. Every hooper needs this in their bag. Stay ready, stay in the game.

Kai what’s your favorite spot on the court? “The court 🤷🏽‍♂️” you know an empty gym means I @gotminestoday 💪🏽

@thepgleague training camp is coming to an end and I feel ready to go…let’s get to it, no excuses. Dunking is great but just feeling like myself again moving around the court is the best reward 🙏🏽 comment #ATRA below if you’re ready to get it all back 😤 #abovetherimagain 🏀
