Had a lot of fun at the #SCGconLA and got to pick up loooots of signatures, even tho i was not at all prepared for a con! Only had some decks with me to play in reno… but still had a good amount of cards there and even found some at the vendors and artists booths!
Turned some unneeded cards into a goldbordered cradle for my lovely wife @bee.alters to eventually turn i to a masterpiece.

SCGCon hosted by @starcitygames was SO much fun today!

I met the great @marktedin and gifted him a Halloween alter, play a sealed LCQ, and got a few signatures from Mark and the wonderful @thephilfoglio and @kajafoglio!

If you have the chance to attend at the Los Angeles Convention Center on October 9, 10, or 11 you definitely should!

As a White Weenie Player I really don’t like to see this card in a Matchup, but I’m always prepared for it - because Armageddon is my old friend. 🔥☀️

Card of the day is Anarchy from Ice Age and illustrated by Phil Foglio ( @thephilfoglio ). I have always absolutely loved the art on this card. It’s probably my favorite card illustrated by Phil Foglio (which is saying a lot considering what all he done). #mtg #mtgphilfoglio #philfoglio

My interpretation of one of my favorite pieces of @wizards_magic art, “Sulfurous Springs” by the incredible Phil Foglio. Swipe through to see Phil’s original piece as well as a few closeups and a viewport shot. This is purely fan art, not an official collaboration.

1. The final piece
2. The original artwork, by Phil Foglio
3. Closeup of the belly
4. Closeup of the background guys
5. Closeup of a decaying skull
6. Blender viewport

I sculpted this entirely in VR using Adobe medium, brought it into Houdini for remeshing, and did the rest — some mesh tweaks, lighting, texturing, and rendering — in Blender.

Photo dump from my awesome day in Cincy yesterday! Met some awesome artists and even called one of the content creators I follow by the wrong name (sorry, Stephen)--but it was a great day and I had some awesome pulls from the Chaos sealed event I attended. Definitely won't be my last con.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to PHIL FOGLIO!

Also known as Claymore J. Flapdoodle, he brought playful humor to early Magic with his expressive, cartoonish style. His work embraced the absurd side of the game, especially in his comics and cards from Unglued.

In the first picture, he's holding the painting of his version of Chaos Warp. Hats off!

Keep up the good work @thephilfoglio
