dear @nulyp,
this movement has given me more than I could have ever imagined: lifelong friendships, meaningful connections with civic leaders across the country, and endless opportunities to be challenged, empowered, and grow. Receiving the National Chapter of Excellence Award for our work last year was an incredible honor. While we don’t do this work for recognition, the dedication, sacrifice, and impact of the Madison YPs deserves to be celebrated. Every person who has contributed to advancing the mission and ensuring we’re a strong continuum of the movement played a part in this achievement. Conference is always a time to reconnect, exchange ideas, reignite our passion, and, of course, do a lil turning up. It fills my cup every single year. I’m deeply humbled and honored to have led our chapter to a regional and national recognition during my term as President. To my cuzins in the movement, thank you for your love, support, and commitment to the work. I love y’all. 🫶🏽The awards are appreciated, but the relationships, purpose, and impact will always mean the most.
Until next year,
IPP Conklin ✨

Women’s Retreat Recap : Part One💕

To My Beloved Sisters,

I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the sacred, life-giving bond we share—the sisterhood that is an anchor in this sometimes chaotic world.

What a gift it is to be in a space where we can be entirely ourselves, without judgment, reservation, or the need to put on a mask. We are masters of finding joy and laughter, the kind that starts deep in the belly and makes our cheeks hurt. We can turn a simple gathering into a magnificent party, full of vibrant life and unstoppable energy. Our joy is a revolutionary act.

But the true power of this circle shows up not just in the laughter, but in the vulnerability. It’s the assurance that when the tears come—the tears of exhaustion, frustration, or quiet sadness—we have hands ready to catch them. We create the safe space to be fragile, to break down, and to be rebuilt with loving, firm encouragement. We remind each other of our resilience, our worth, and the power that runs through our veins.

We don’t just celebrate the wins; we hold each other through the struggle. We are a collective of cheerleaders, truth-tellers, and unconditional supporters who refuse to let a sister fall. Thank you for being my reflection, my motivation, and my safe harbor.
You are loved, you are seen, and you are absolutely vital.

With Deepest Love and Solidarity,
Your Sister
