It’s back! ‘Marc Bolan’s Teenage Dream’ Guided Walk is happening on Sunday 13 September, starting 11am from Tooting Broadway. 49 years after his death, this Walk discovers the south west London world of the early sixties that shaped the young Mark Feld as he morphed into Marc Bolan; musician, poet, chart-topping pop icon, loved all over the world...

The Walk starts at 11am from outside Tooting Broadway tube station, SW17 and winds through the town centre before heading to Summerstown and the site of the Feld family’s prefab home. There will be many stops with an MB connection, places where you can pick up refreshments and have a breather. Along the way, to enhance the vibe, Fred will be laying down some of Marc’s finest grooves. We finish on Garratt Lane, near Earlsfield Station SW18. This Walk which follows the course of the historic River Wandle is part of the annual Wandle Fortnight programme so do take a peek at what else is on offer. Its rumoured that it was on this river that the young dreamer spotted the swan that inspired his first major hit... Wear a tall hat and a tattooed gown and see you on 13 September - as ever, Keep a Little Marc in Your Heart...

Happy Global Beatles Day!
From and my mum aka @theplanet_queen
Today is a day to celebrate the message of the Beatles which is overall LOVE. We need to spread to love, because they’re too much hate in this world!! The world needs the Beatles more than ever! With all this horrible, devastating war in this world. I hope we see an end to war in my life time.

On a personal level, the Beatles have helped me and my mum through so many hard times, and if it wasn’t for the music of The Beatles, I don’t think I’d personally have made it through! And I’m sure Mum feels the same! But at the same time the Beatles has been there through a lot of the very best times of our lives as well! It’s the music that has transformed my life!
Remember, All You Need Is Love❤️
Love you Paul, John, George and Ringo ❤️

What an absolutely amazing day and night yesterday!! Seeing my absolute hero @paulmccartney at the Roundhouse in Camden. I was so privileged to be sat front row and even had Paul point at me and sang the words with me!!
Many thanks to @innerlightpodcast for organising such a great fan meet-up, too! Which even lead to me and my mum being invited by Paul's social media team!!!
Seeing Uncle Bryn was a nice surprise!

Paul McCartney Teddy Boy Cover Live at Miami, FL (Jul. 5th, 2020).

aul McCartney’s songwriting is timeless.
“Teddy Boy” has always felt underrated to me, so I wanted to give it my own acoustic version. 🎸

Recorded this live with vocals + guitar only. Hope you feel the spirit of the original in it.

Which McCartney song should I cover next?

Beatles Everybody’s Trying To Be My Baby Cover Live at Miami, FL (Apr. 19th, 2019).

This one goes back to the raw rockabilly roots of The Beatles — George Harrison on lead, pure attitude, no filters. 🎸🔥

I’ve always loved how loose and fun this track feels. It’s messy in the best way — just guitars, groove, and that early Liverpool energy.

If you’re into the Beatles For Sale era, this one’s for you.

Turn the volume up and tell me —
👉 Do you prefer early rock ‘n’ roll Beatles or the psychedelic era?

Save it if you’re a George Harrison fan.
Share it with someone who still spins vinyl.
