Final #5xFriday of 2021. @madcaddiesofficial Punk Rocksteady is one of my favorite releases of the last decade and @gojimmygomusic Soul Arrival is one of my favorite albums of all time. We got some Christmas sneaking onto the grid. #ska #applemusic #scrobble #lastfm

#5xfriday this week was supposed to be filled with Christmas songs, but then I only listened to the @goldfingermusic Christmas EP. Number one, though, is one of my favorite albums of all time. The Hippos - Forget the World is an album I haven’t listened to in one sitting I’m a while, but it’s still incredible. It’s one of those rare albums that I know all of the words to all of the songs. It’s not on streaming and it’s super hard to find, but if you can experience it, listen to it.

My friend Delfino borrowed it like 13 years ago. I don’t think I’m getting it back. It’s a bummer because it’s an original Vagrant Records print that I rightfully inherited (stole?) from @toocooldre
