Day 7 of my @blackthought dedication. I used to play drums but never had the patience to play a pattern like this. Shouts to @questlove for always providing incredible backdrops for @theroots classics.

Tomorrow we drop the final verse to honor the solar return of a goat emcee. Let’s go

@blackthought dedication Day 4. Shouts to @elmichelsaffair once again for the fire backdrop. Had to speak on this beat and touch on some important parts of my life.

Big shouts to my brother from another mother @jay2thestar and Momma Conquest for being there in some of the most crucial points in my life. The love and support is why you are so important to me.

@blackthought dedication day 2. The canvas was brilliantly crafted by @elmichelsaffair with a memorable sample from the legendary Shabba Ranks. This beat just speaks to me so I had to bless it. Would Thought rock with this?

Please take a second to tap in on 9/26 EVERY DAY to 10/3. THIS IS JUST RAP! I’m dropping a new verse DAILY for this entire week as a dedication to one of my goat emcees…. Tariq Trotter aka @blackthought

My only goal is to see if I can gain an acknowledgement from him. And for y’all to hopefully enjoy me trying to rap my ass off

These drops will end on his birthday which is next Saturday. Appreciate y’all checking the verses and showing love how you choose to.

Much respect and love to all supporters of this CRAFT that we know and love!

This constraint was an easy one, and the one I most commonly have to execute. Writing to a theme. This one was James Dolan , CEO of Madison Square Garden Sports.

I prefer to get records like this for features, so if you have one with an open verse…. Send that shit. This weekend only, I’ll knock it out for the low $$. 2 day turnaround .

Shouts to @barskept for the canvass.

Peep the techniques on each line and see if you can catch them yourself. Fire emojis are cool but feedback wit real words is cool too 😎. Either way thanks for taking the time to listen.
