Customer experience does not begin when a rep knocks on the door or when a crew arrives at the home. It often begins much earlier with the way a company treats the people who will eventually serve that customer.

In his PowerChat with Greg Cummings, Chris Argenziano, CEO at The Pool Boss, shared why a team that feels valued, trusted, and connected to the business can create a very different homeowner experience.

Chris says his people are so invested that you would think they own part of the company, and that pride shows in the way they care for clients.

For home improvement leaders, this conversation is a reminder that better reviews, stronger referrals, and happier customers may start with a question inside the company first: are your people proud to be there?

Long-term growth is not only about how many customers a company can win. It is also about what happens after the project is finished and how a business treats the people and communities that helped it grow.

In his PowerChat with Greg Cummings, Chris Argenziano, CEO at The Pool Boss, shared why strong customer relationships can continue for years and why giving back should come from a simple belief that people should help one another.

From supporting local youth programs and police departments to continuing to serve homeowners after installation, Chris shows how trust can grow far beyond the first sale.

For home improvement leaders, this conversation is a reminder that the strongest reputation is built through the way you serve people, stay connected, and give back long after the project is complete.

Growth can look great on a sales report while quietly putting pressure on the people responsible for delivering the work.

In his PowerChat with Greg Cummings, Chris Argenziano, CEO at The Pool Boss, shared why he chose to stop taking on more projects when demand became too heavy, even though more revenue was available.

His reason was simple: an exhausted team can eventually lead to weaker workmanship and a worse homeowner experience. Chris has built his growth philosophy around knowing the company’s limits, protecting his people, keeping quality strong, and choosing control of the customer experience over unlimited volume.

For home improvement leaders, this conversation is a strong reminder that sustainable growth is not about saying yes to every opportunity. It is about knowing how much your team can carry without losing the standard that made customers trust you in the first place.

A great backyard is not defined by the biggest pool or the longest list of upgrades.

In his PowerChat with Greg Cummings, Chris Argenziano, CEO at The Pool Boss, shared why the best outdoor spaces start with understanding how a family actually wants to live. For some homeowners, that means more room to gather, eat, relax, and entertain around the pool.

For others, it simply means creating a place where the kids can swim all day, and memories can happen naturally. Chris also explains why smaller pools, more usable shallow areas, thoughtful backyard design, and a relationship that continues after construction can create more value than simply building bigger.

For home improvement leaders, this conversation is a strong reminder that great design starts by listening to the customer and building around their life, not around what you want to sell. Read the full press release to learn how Chris and The Pool Boss are changing the way families think about pools and outdoor living.
