FRAGMENTS OF EXPERIENCE
Fragments of Experience is my ongoing ritual of experimental practice, started in 2021. I collect videos, photographs, sound, and text, captured in different moments of my life that reflect on/resonate with my cognitive, emotional, and sensory experiences.

I started using the gathered archive of material to create “internal landscapes” - editing, animating, manipulating, modifying the image and sound in order to reflect the state of mind by re-working the captured memory into created spaces, accompanied often by a poetic approach to philosophical, scientific, psychological, and social issues through the use of text/voice.

I find that the process has an aspect of healing through reimagining/reclaiming the experiences, piecing them together as an archive of one whole story, or my relationship with life, as well as studying the value of relationships formed with nature, spaces, and objects. I’m interested in how those mental and sensory relationships reflect one’s identity, and how the personal experience of the world is affected by the connections with the environment.

The two films were produced while studying at @goldsmithsartistsmovingimage.

never been one to post my writing when it makes its way into the world, but just maybe i’ll begin to shift just slightly into view. perhaps.
my first little public wander into poetry land in years drifted me right into the dreamy arms of @theprimer.co— thank you for giving my little meditation such a lush home.

stay soft, my friends.

Thrilled that my poem “Lost in Moscow” (and an audio recording of it from yours truly) have been published in the first issue of The Primer! So excited to have my work included in their immersive online publication alongside many other brilliant creatives whose work you should definitely check out on the website.
