Yesterday was a very special day, @LazerCrawford not only qualified through the wildcard jam at @sls, but he then held his own in the finals getting fourth place amongst some of the greatest skateboarders in the world

This whole weekend has truly been a full circle moment of three different worlds of Skatebording

Whether it be the core, the training, or the beautiful combination of both all coming together to celebrate the sport that we love, and reminisce with all the friends we’ve made along the way

Absolutely hyped 😎📈🌟

Family and Friends at the Rockstar Energy Open 🌟

We had a break from the extreme heat, so I took the opportunity to go to the local skate park.

My dominant shoe has a whole in it from kickflips, which encouraged me to skate “switch” and Nollie. At first no one was there, I was able to warm up, and get into a rhythm of tricks.

A few of these tricks I hadn’t even done before, let alone up a small “euro gap or step up” or at least it had been quite some time. But lately there’s been a desire to push it that I’ve been noticing in a lot of my friends and fellow skaters. It’s inspiring, and to give it your all in whatever it is that you’re doing, feels better than anything else the world has to offer.

Then Kevin shows up, we don’t recognize each other at first, because it had been easily a decade since we last saw each other at Thunderbird skate park when I was skating and training with Lazer. He called me out, “The Professor!”

Needless to say, great conversation was had, deep ideas of spirit and energy were shared, and tricks went down that itself created a container of harmonic alignment.

It can be really hard to be motivated in such a crazy world with so much going on and all the chaos and loss we’ve experienced. So I went to the skate park today and really gave it my all for all those who can’t and that’s truly the secret. Give it your all. Tell your friends and family you love them. Cry. Have a controlled outburst. Feel something and let it cause you to grow instead of a downward spiral. I love you all. Be there for you. Release.
