⚡ EV Harness episode is here-ish (and on YouTube) Featuring Mark Brems from @914Electric, powered by 914Rubber.

Sparks flew (the good kind, no magic smoke!) as we tackled the 12V EV system on the 914.

We wired up a beefed-up harness, mounted the Thunderstruck DC-DC converter in the bonnet, and pinned up the J1772 AC charge port. It hides behind the bumper with a flip-down license plate so I can charge without marring up the beauty of the 914.

Then came the high voltage cable from controller to motor. With the 914Electric 90-degree bracket, the wires run straight down like an orange waterfall. 🔥

Full episode linked in bio!

⚠️ Always be careful around high voltage. No power was connected during this build.

HAPPY 914 DAY! This one is extra special, at least to me, and I wanted to share a mega cool detail of the car with you! As build videos are rolling out, take a look at what I did with my @thunderstruckmotors Dilithium Design EV Display! And of course, I have the Blaupunkt tape deck!
Happy 914 day to all my fellow 914ers out there!
Keep on tinkering and keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming videos 🫣
